City of Glass - The Easter Scandal
In which Jean-Renaud LeBeau, a Lepin adventurer from another world, visits modern day Earth on assignment from a Fey organization known as The Gentry, in pursuit of a particularly nasty rogue Fey.
His mission is complicated by the unexpected destruction of his trousers, which requires an expedition to a local mall to acquire a new pair, with the assistance of his human host, Nancy Wellington, who is more than pleased to show him the sights of one of the last vestiges of a consumerist paradise.
A short story that I wrote around Easter of this year, as part of an inside joke for a friend in our D&D group. He makes a cameo in the story.
