You Know What You Did!
Every gamer knows what just happened. That d20 has failed Sara for the last time. This is a last ditch effort to save that die, hoping to scare the bad rolls out of it, before some more drastic measure has to be taken - like firing it into the nearest star.

If it is what I think it is, I have that exact same dice chair/hat
When I gamed I did roll trials on dice looking for the ones that were marginally high rollers may that was just wishful thinking
My first d20 commonly only rolls a comic 1-7, but invariably rolls a 20 when drama demands an impossible 'crowning moment of awesome'. Possessed by a bard, I reckon.
Do you really need to call me out that hard? This is my luck in general.
There's a player in my group who has an uncanny knack for rolling 2s more often than anything else. I even started keeping a record to prove it.
But the Powers-That-Be apparently didn't like me peeking behind the curtain, because Covid started shortly thereafter.

I wasn't superstitious until I started rolling dice. My dice have moods. So this is very relatable
I swear the 1 and the 20 on those things are sentient. The 1 hates the table with a passion, so every time you roll it does its best to stay as far away from it as possible. Which works out great for the 20, which was in a love affair with the table a long time ago but they were separated through a tragic accident, so now every time you roll it desperately tries to be reunited with it.
It's really a tragic story when you think about it. The table cheated on the 1 with the 20, so the 1 wants nothing to do with it anymore. Meanwhile the 20 and the table are desperately in love, and will do anything to be together again.

I've never played any game that used anything other than a 6-sided die (or two dice) so I have no idea what everyone is talking about but I think the drawing is cute and funny.
D6's aren't immune to bad rolls either. There's a reason why double 1s ("snake eyes") are so dreaded.
I absolutely love the energy of this piece, and how instantly relatable it is.
One girl in my Son's group had a d20 with a bump on the 1. It would never roll a 20. Once discovered it was ceremoniously destroyed.

This reminds me of the time I got pissed off enough at my D20 for coming up 1's to do something about it. I took out my Leatherman's saw, cut it in half, then grabbed my spare D20, held it next to the chopped up one and said, "This is what will happen to you if you don't do better than a 1!"
I rolled a nat 20.
We had to stop fro fifteen minutes because everyone was falling out of their chairs laughing.

"Fail me again and it's ten days in the rock-polisher for you."
So natural 1 in trying to escape the dragon?
Or natural 20 in seducing the dragon?
Or natural 20 in seducing the dragon?
I thought I was the only player who was told to roll vs. seduction by the dragon.

I know virtually nothing about tabletop gaming, but after reading litmauthor's comment I had to Google this. OMG, it's real. :)
