Been working on some Thalmvaric Martian Worldbuilding of at least one of the Planar, so here is a Tempi village (from the Martian region Tempe). Yesterday was my last free Sunday for the forseeable future so wanted to make it count and cranked out a doodle!
These folks are the Tempi, so named after the Tempe region of Mars on one of the various planar that Mars was shattered into at the onset of the Human Thalmvaric War. These specific settlers descending from a cluster of Syrinxian flesh thralls that had crashed on the plana and, seperate from their robotic overlords, were able to start over and over time, build a new society.
Their settlements are built on a large, regional aquafer of frozen ice beneath the ground that is accessed by a variety of natural cave formations throughout the region. Most of the thousands of tempi drekir and ormer water their lives with the ice mined from the underground glacial caves, Often carving large blocks of Ice to drag up to the surface to melt and use for drinking, bathing and cleaning, industrial and agricultural processes.
Like many of the denizens of the Martian Expanse, they also make a living on scavenging (though I've already drawn that so didn't want to do it here). These people are also Hunter Farmers, making a living off of hunting as well as cultivating a small handful of plants and insects. Namely with their bug farming they farm Sulmites, a domesticated termite species cultivated by the ancient syrinxians for feeding their thralls that have continued to see use by many modern martian populations thanks to their very versatile diets and pound for pound meat production! Likewise the drekir particularly are known to hunt a variety of Regolithic dune fish, using vibrations to drive the strange invertebrates to the surface before blasting them with shotguns to take home to eat.
But amongst their Sulmite crops they also grow a dearly important crop, Hemp! A crop that was already commonly used in prewar societies that has seen intensive use into the Thalmvaric age by small communities thanks to the sheer amount of applications that quality hemp can be used for.
Rope, Clothing, Bedding, Quality insulation, even Hempcrete and Hemp bricks! But most importantly to the Tempi
Hempwood! Created by compressing mulched hemp fibers, chitin glue (from Regolithic fish usually) that, with extreme pressure and a careful application of heat can be pressed into a wood like material that is deeply prized by the Tempi. As the nearest actual martian trees are over 1500 kilometers away in the northwestern jungles they see hempwood planks as a rather quality material. One they use to build their homes and haft their tools as a manner of showing off the wealth of their agriculture and hemp gardens. They are hemp carpenters by trade and art and their strange woodworking in a land without trees is a great point of pride in their culture.
Otherwise of course they scavenge (seen with the aluminum roofing on their A frames here) and engage in a lot of other common thalmvaric industries, Chitin manipulation and Chitic bladed tools, a variety of bronze metallurgical techniques and bronze alloys, Complex alchemistry, Artificy, etc. etc.
As for their cosmology and ideology
Being generally descendant from the Syrinxian thralls that once tended to their ascendant artifice lords, it should be no surprise that aspects of the thalmvaric faith of the Tempi draws back to a syrinxian belief in the "Motor Spirit". They believe that Machines came before Meat and it was the Machines that crafted them from flesh, having lived through a long line of great Machine Kings the last, known as the Motor Spirit had decreed the the age of metals and oils would end and the age of flesh and blood would begin, thus freeing their ancestors to spread across the plana.
This particular variant of Syrinxian remnant religions has a great emphasis on pilgrimages to a variety of ancient syrinxian ruins. which are seen as holy sites from which the metal of old can be used to bolster the flesh anew, with prayers oft directed towards these ruins once every 12 days (Martian days are close to Earthen expanse days, about 24 hours). Scavengers themselves in this religion are often religious shamans of oil who build and speak to new artifices as well as navigate the old ruins, believed to be protected from the remnant syrinxian priests and their artifices who have refused to cede to the age of flesh and blood.
Otherwise they live pretty normal lives by the standards of the Thalmvar, far from the lives of those who once lived in the now collapsing ruins of verdigris and crumbling concretes. They pass their times socializing, gossiping, creating art from their hempwood mediums of choice, playing an interclan competitive sport of KeJopa in which hafted nets are used to lob an alchemical rubber ball into an enemy teams goal, and even a board game known as Habea that is a strategic chariot racing game (as well as a more rare actual chariot racing game practiced between clans or tribes).
So yeah, enjoy!

'Syrinxian Flesh Thralls' is an absolutely fantastic metal band name
(also I see those PetroDragonic Apocalypse references, don't think they're subtle! ;;p)

I mean considering where the name of the Syrinxians came from (WE ARE THE PRIESTS!!! OF THE TEMPLE!!! OOOOOF SYRINX!!!)
There are multiple references to multiple bands here, It's a time honored tradition at this point

Yes. I caught the 2112 reference on earlier Thaumvaric lore doodles mentioning them tho so I didn't want to repeat. ::p
(Also King Gizz and the gizzverse is my SPECIAL INTEREST)

I don't know if you intended it or not, or if you know the lore of WH 40k for that matter. But "Martians/Mars", "Priests of Oil" and "Motor Spirit" XD Sounds like the start of drekir Omnissiah and Adeptus Mechanicus, heh.
I hope it's not rude to compare your work (some folks are really salty if you compare their work with something else), but raw coincidence is rather hilarious (even the fact that this tribe live on "Mars plane").
As for timeline, it's one of the tribes which scattered across various places after that "dragon"/human war (and after human extinction) right? I hope we see more of them in future

They are one of several little inspirations! But they are quite a bit different from the WH40K folks, their inspirations come just as heavily from stories like A Canticle for Lebowitz, and sort of an inverse of the themes of All Tomorrows and The Earth Abides. They are the people who have never moved on from their collapse. They are the Gravitals more than they are the Mechanicus.
Syrinxians, though once a unified society of transhumanist (transdraconic?) artifice beings have fallen a long way. By the time of the Thalmvar you can mostly find them in ruins, starved of gas and trapped in barely functioning bodies, their once indomitable spirits and wills fallen mad with the passing of eons floating in the Celeste or buried under ancient ruins. They are still powerful... but they are not a people to look up to seeing as they are nothing more than the rotted remnants of a fetid fascistic past that is now long gone and will never return truly in the way they were. All for the better.
