My birthday is in August but I love Autumn. I kind of like to see August as the gateway to Fall.
I'm all seasons kinda guy, but I'm particularly fond of my birth season, which is autumn. Helps that I am a pumpkin fanatic, too.

All the leaves are off the trees, the color grey is everywhere, and everything has a damp feel to it. I think my best memories growing up were warm days in December, right after it had rained, but it was still dark and overcast outside. The daytime felt like a never-ending night.

October, its when its most beautiful here with all the trees changing over in the last two weeks. November here is usually rain, cold, and the trees that are left with leaves just turn brown at that point.

This is an absolutely gorgeous piece. A peaceful piece. Something I am putting aside so that in moments of stress I can pull it out and let myself calm down remembering the briskness of the air, the bite of the wind, and the loneliness of the road.
