I hope I was able to draw this fighter correctly, because according to the photo from the Internet, the F-4 Phantom II seemed very short and large to me. I thought all fighters were thin and long. I still have to work and work on the technique

The jet is instantly identifiable, amazing work!! Love the character too <3
Yep, the F4 is a short, fat hog made in a time when the US military thought that "dogfighting is dead" and made their new plane to be a missile boat in the sky. So much so, they didn't even put a gun in the first variant. Turns out, they were completely wrong and while the F-4 eventually was retrofitted into being a better fighter (and given a gun), it was still kind of fat. Ironically, with today's modern technology, dogfighting is pretty outdated... but we still put guns in now. The F-4 became a good plane, but it taught an even better lesson!
I think it looks really good, easily identifiable that it's a phantom. They really are just thick and big jets in general, and fast af
