Someone called this look 'cassette futurism' and I love that.
Here she is! I'm currently calling her Evie Saige, like a field tech support type character. Not really a fighter, probably too young to being seeing action but post apoc cyberpunk be like that.

looks like a world class olympic shooter from turkey to me :p
haha i love that dude blowing up, i hope he can cash in on the short fame well, good for him :D
You do a great job, coming up with neat and interesting characters. Keep up the good work.
Cassette futurism, yeah. Its the whole Alien/Aliens 1970s-but-futuristic vibe. Your style works with it.
Yeah, I've been leaning into that a bit the past few months, I didn't know the term though :D
I don't think its as common as other terms. I've only seen it used in TvTropes before you posted it here.
I just found the term on TvTropes while looking at 90's futurism for inspiration, and I just found Ashpond again through twitter through googling the term. X'D I thought the artist looked familiar.
Post apocalyptic cassette punk Snow leopard (?) girl? Hell yeah, I'm here for it.
Looks like someone that'd gladly work for a resistance movent brewing in a city both to work as technically a mercenary (but really they just do nerd stuff) and get paid fat stacks and also because they like the concept of sticking to anyone you consider even slightly corporate by helping destroying their infrastructure.
Also seems like someone I'd need to use vat form soldiers to protect them while they do their computer nerd stuff in a Frozen Synapse mission, specifically, like the one I'm stuck on so badly I have two different versions of the game and I got stuck on the same level for both.

I feel like I should clarify the level I'm stuck on is like... the 5 or 6th level, and I've been trying to beat them for literal years.
Yeah I suck at strategy games, we're not even out of the early game and I'm stuck.

I love the design and idea for the character, very nice!! <3
(Also I've actually heard that same term before and I love it too…been thinking it might describe at least part of what I'm going for… :D )

If she's from a post-apocalyptic setting, I get the feeling she's from a place that's either been largely untouched by the apocalypse or recovered almost completely from it. People can tell she grew up not having the dust of the Wastes all over her and might consider her naive at best.
Looking forward to seeing and learning more about her! The whole post-apoc cyberpunk setting you have in mind sounds intriguing as well.

Yeah, I'm not sure she needs to be on her own anywhere there isn't a large community. She's good at X so the large group keeps her really safe.
'cassette futurism' is probably the sharpest term for this look I have ever heard.
