It's a nice picture and I like it but I think the old picture expressed the view of the group better. I wouldn't be able to tell what the group was by the new picture alone.
True enough, but we wanted something that we could call our own. We're also looking at maybe putting on some t-shirts in the future.
For me, it actually has all three elements. The biblical lion and the lamb, the furry aspect of that, and the rainbows in the fur. Nicely done!
