Oh this is SICKKK, I absolutely love the imagery and colors!! It really gives off just how terrifying and formidable Death is, and how truly brave Puss has to be to fight him 💙
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS. im pretty sure this is among the best i seen for death in puss in boots. though i do have 1 question. not that it really matters cause of how great this is.
why 7 faces and not 9? (im including his full form at the bottom of the pic)
im just a fan of the movie and i know 9 has been emphasized alot. so im wondering if there an artistic reasoning or just because you felt 9 would be to much to the picture overall? or am i just putting to much thought into it?

To answer your question: it's just that when I drew Death's heads, I didn't think about the theme of the nine lives in the movie. I just focused on reproducing certain scenes from the film, when the character appears.
