A Berry Bad Breakthrough - Alt 2
The swelling, sharp eared scientist let out a grunt of surprise - nowhere in his analysis did a side-effect like this factor in… his tan, muscular form was quickly giving way to a bloated, blue body instead - he gripped his growing, glorshing gut, giving it a hearty heave. Try as he might, he was tragically unable to see his clawed feet beneath his burgeoning belly.
Well… this experiment had disproven his hypothesis, and was sure to leave him more than a little beached - but, Onyx couldn’t say he was totally displeased with the outcome. As immobility crept ever closer, he couldn’t help but smirk thinking of all the colleagues and assistants who would be perfect candidates for further testing of this sloshing serum… All in honor of the scientific process, of course!

Here’s a commission I did for TheCuriousCurator as part of Juicy July! I have to say, I very much like the demi-human form he had me use for his character Onyx in this piece - blue really is his color… Not to mention purple, too!
