Oooof .....
This was my childhood too ....
"you're too smart for us" and "you're a baby" were the ones I got hit with since I was the straight A student of the class and I was one of the smallest kids growing up and wore my emotions on my sleeve...

That's rough! I'm really sorry you went through this sort of thing. Being rejected as a kid by "friends" is pretty hard no matter the reason.
It's actually kind of nice to see you covering it here. I feel seen.
I always see bullying portrayed as the physical/name calling kind .... and yet, I was bullied through exclusion instead.
I coped by throwing myself into the novels I'd just learned how to read (Animorphs at the time) and my Pokemon games .... mostly because the characters couldn't hate me or abandon me.

To me rejection via exclusion was far more common. Not just even towards me but people I know. I've been the moose kid who feels bad before too. It's never nice.
People can be cold blooded sometimes basil. Their rude words might end up biting them in the butt before they know it
I would never wish violence on children.
But at the same time, if that kid experienced something similar to being drop-kicked, it would make me smile.
