This is that other pride-related art I mentioned in the previous Pride Month post. I was originally aiming for the middle of June, then the end of June, but life stuff was happening during all that, with work and school and whatnot, and I got caught up in a bit of a block for a few weeks. I still decided to finish this despite it now being the middle of July, but hey, better late than never. I also originally wanted to do this with Rian and Dillan, but I went with Loc and Rian instead since I didn't want to have three posts in a row about Rian and Dillan. Besides, I figure I ought to be drawing the namesake of my account more often.

Lore time! Having lesbian parents, Loc and Rian were obviously exposed to the concept of queer relationships pretty early on (as in, literally since birth/adoption). Thus, it didn't take long for the two brothers to figure out their own identities, with Loc being bisexual, and Rian being pansexual. As you can see, one of them is clearly a lot more... exuberant about it than the other.

Whenever I draw any of my characters, it occurs to me that I don't know shit about body proportions. I usually have to heavily resize various body parts during the sketching phase until it looks right, because I never get it on the first try. At least I'm learning, and I'm certainly doing better than whatever the hell I was doing in that family art. And I got the shadows sorta right this time compared to the last pride art! Very exciting times.
