40-year-old Kimiko is the wife of Saburo, mother of four, older sister of Haru, and head priestess of the Zenigawa family’s shrine. She’s been at the shrine ever since she began working there as a miko, thanks to falling in love with Saburo. The two married when Kimiko was 21, and she eventually rose to head priestess. If one were to ask her, she’d truthfully say she’s very happy with how things have turned out for her. While she is a bit envious of Haru for being such an incredibly powerful kitsune for her age, she still wouldn’t trade her life for any other. Aside from the expected magic and fantastic mothering, Kimiko is quite skilled at playing koto and putting on beautiful kagura performances, and she’s also highly creative, very often found drawing, painting, and composing her own unique music, her favorite art subjects being her family and her musical specialty being little songs she makes for her children. She also likes to boast that she has the best self-control the Zenigawas, but the truth is she has her own gluttony trigger… Provide her with enough bowls of kitsune udon and the slim foxmom will soon enough be a very round and heavy one!
