I can relate to the raccoon here. I'm not an avid fan of taking a dip. :p
I can relate too, I'd really like to be able to swim in water below 20 degrees but it's just aggggghhhhhh

I live beside the North Atlantic, and there's a beautiful, mile-long white sand beach just a few minutes' walk away. I love swimming in that cold salt water. It really brings me back to life after a hard day's work in the summer heat.
A lot of tourists visit during the summer, and I've seen many a visitor jump into the surf and jump right back out...BRRRRR!!!

The YCH situation was inspired when I visited the Atlantic too, but in the Biscay Bay in northern Spain. It was a lovely hot June day, but the water was just too cold for me to even go in below chest 🤣 And my partner having more tolerance with cold water had no problem whatsoever 😅
