A Luigi's Mansion title where Luigi is already over his fear of facing off King Boo and just wants to help the guy.
While I highly doubt the gem and crown being removed fixes or could fix anything regarding King Boo, I think to him that crown and its magic is like an addiction he won't stop finding ways to reunite with. Could be he thought that it was the only way to help protect his people against the Mario Bros when he was just a 'bigger boo'.
Even if he detoxed from the magic, he's still forever altered.
Who knows. Fun to speculate!

LOL Oh gosh, Luigi is going to have one heck of a time if he ends up being the therapist. He's gonna need more than the poltergust's latest model to keep him sane during all of this.
