It was a relaxing day at the pokemon village, and Liam is making a nice meal for him and Jack. "Alright, gonna put the salad on and the food is all set! Alright Jack, I have made you some chicken and salad so me and you can eat it!" Liam said. But for some reason, Jack wasn't in the house. "Um, Jack? are you still in your room? If you are, I'm gonna see if you are still focusing on your jigsaw puzzle." Liam said as he checks if Jack was in Liam's and Jack's bedroom. Liam checks inside, but Jack wasn't in the bedroom, and he has a unfinished jigsaw puzzle on the table. "That's strange, he's not here, and he still needs to finish his jigsaw puzzle. Wait an minute, something tells me that he is outside like doing shopping, or maybe even visiting the mayor, I need to look for him." Liam said as he tries to go out to find Jack, but he forgot to bring the chicken and salad with him. "Oh! Looks like I almost forgot our chicken and salad! I better put it in container so it will stay fresh for an long time." Liam said as he grabs two containers and puts the chicken and salad meal into the two containers. "Looks like they are gonna stay fresh in those containers, now to find Jack and have our dinner together!" Liam said as he goes into the search to find Jack while carrying the chicken and salad inside the containers. He looked around the pokemon village, until he can he some chatting in the town hall. "Hm? Seems Jack must be in the town hall chatting to the mayor, I wonder what he is chatting about? It may be something special for us to enjoy, So I better go inside to check it out." Liam said as he opens the town hall door, and he could see Jack, The Mayor, and a little fox. "Hello there Liam, come over and sit with us, we are about to do an special event for You and Waffle!" The Mayor said as he comes and sits with the others. "Hey there Liam, My name is Waffle the little fox, and I am a master of making food such as baking cakes and also watch some recipes online!" Waffle said. "Hey there Waffle, my name is Liam and this my younger brother Jack. I just heard that you are discussing something about a event for us to do." Liam said. "Yes, and we are doing an cooking contest to see that You and Waffle do well at cooking, and I will be the judge to see who has the best cooked food." Jack said. "And that food is making a perfect cake, you know like in the Victorian times when someone makes an classic sponge cake, with flour on top!" Waffle said. This is making the mayor very hungry about it. "Mmmmm, this sure is making me hungry about it! Anyways the event will start tomorrow, so be sure to practice your cooking skills, and be sure to watch some cooking channels to give you examples on how to make the perfect cake! Alright, I will see you tomorrow for the cooking contest between Liam and Waffle, and Jack, make sure who has the best cake there is!" The Mayor said. "I sure will, and you got the chicken and salad in the containers as well for us to eat." Jack said. "I did because I want them to stay fresh and also keep the flies away from it." Liam said. Waffle was thinking that he could try to have that chicken and salad. "Hey Liam, can I try your chicken and salad that you made? I'm really starving right now." Waffle asked. "Sure, you can try it my salad. Hey mayor, have you got a spare container for Waffle to try my chicken and salad meal?" Liam asked. "Oh yes, I have one in the kitchen, and I will give it to Waffle now." The Mayor said as he goes into the kitchen to get a container for Waffle. "Hmmmm, it should be around here somewhere. Maybe it could be in the cupboards where I store my kitchen stuff." The Mayor said as he checks in the cupboard to find the container, and he has found one. "Perfect, now Waffle will have the chicken and salad meal in no time!" The Mayor said as he grabs the container and takes it to Waffle. "Oh, you found a container, now Waffle is gonna enjoy Liam's food that he made!" Jack said. "I really will, now put your food into the container please Liam." Waffle said as Liam puts the chicken and salad into Waffle's container. "There we go, now we can all eat the nice and fresh meal I made!" Liam said. The Mayor was thinking that they could eat their food outside because he doesn't want to let anyone to make a mess. "I was thinking that all of you could be able to eat outside because I don't want to have any messes in my town hall." The Mayor asked. "Sure, We will eat this outside, so we will see you tomorrow." Liam said as Liam, Jack and Waffle go outside of the town hall to eat their meal. When they are outside, they sat on the bench and they eat their meal. Waffle thinks the chicken and salad meal looks so tasty. "Mmmmm, you sure have a tasty salad, and I love it!" Waffle said. Liam and Jack are really glad to hear about it. "Glad that you enjoyed that salad that Liam made, and he sure will have a good cooking contest with you!" Jack said. "Of course, so we can see who can make the great cake that they can make!" Liam said. The next day at Liam and Jack's house, Liam, Jack and Waffle watched some cooking videos, which made them very hungry. "Oh man, watching those kind of videos is making me hungry." Waffle said. "Me too, and also making me wanted to cook as well!" Liam said. Just then, they can hear a knock on the door. "Hey, that must be the mayor that is going to take us to the park for the contest, I'm gonna answer it." Jack said as he opens the door to meet the mayor. "Alright, are you all ready to begin your cooking contest?" The Mayor asked. Everyone is ready to do their cooking contest. "Yep, all us are ready!" Liam, Waffle and Jack said. "Good, now let's go and show off your cooking skills!" The Mayor said as they went into the park for the cooking contest. At the park, there was a tent with a fridge, some bowl mixers and a stove that is powered by the power generator. "Wow, is this generated by the power generator?" Waffle asked. "Yep, sure is used by the power generator, because without it, you won't be able to make a perfect cake. Alright, better get in your cooking positions, because the contest is about to start." The Mayor said as Liam and Waffle went into their cooking tables while Jack sits at the table to become the judge. The Contest begins as everyone came and the Mayor welcomes everyone to the contest. "Hello and welcome to the cooking contest! Today, we are watching Liam and Waffle bake a tasty cake, while Jack becomes the judge of this contest. Alright, are you two ready to make a tasty cake for Jack?" The Mayor asked. "We sure are!" Both Liam and Waffle said. "Good, now let the contest begin!" The Mayor said as Liam and Waffle begin to make their own version of their cake. "Can't wait to take a try of those two tasty cakes!" Jack said. Liam and Waffle put in their ingredients for the cake and started to mix the bowl. Next, they put the mixture into two of their own baking trays and put them in the oven. Minutes later, their cakes are now ready and they put cream and Jam in it. Liam has his own blueberry jam in his cake while Waffle has his own orange jam in his cake. Lastly, they decorated the cake with icing and also put their faces on with coloured icing. "Alright, both of you are now finished, let's see how Jack can taste them!" The Mayor said as the mayor cut the slice of Liam's and Waffle's cake and puts it on the plate. "Ok, first up, Liam's cake." The Mayor said as Liam gives his cake slice to Jack. "I hope my cake tastes good, even with the blueberry jam." Liam said as Jack takes a bit of Liam's cake. "Mmmm, seems it's so tasty with the blueberry flavour, feels like I'm having an nice blueberry time, even if I don't turn into one!" Jack said. "The Next cake is Waffle's own cake." The Mayor said as Waffle gives his slice of cake to Jack, and Jack takes a bite of the cake. "Oh my gosh, it feels like I'm in a tropical sensation with that cake! Gonna add this food to this summer menu list!" Jack said. "So, who is the winner of the contest Jack?" The Mayor asked. Jack thinks for a moment, until he decided choose the winner. "Well, I think Liam and Waffle win this contest, so this means it's a tie!" Jack said as everyone cheered for Liam and Waffle. "I can't believe with both won, and I got you this for You and Jack to try out!" Waffle said as he gives Liam his own cookbook. "A cookbook made by you? How nice of you Waffle! I'm gonna try to cook food with it later!" Liam said as holds on to Waffle's cookbook. "So, who wants to have a cake?" The Mayor said as everyone agrees with him and all of them had a cake for the celebration of Liam's and Waffle's win of the cooking contest.
