Warriors or not, the Apostles are still regular people with their own set of obligations, goals, and values. While fighting demons and maintaining peace and order in various locations is part of the job, what do they do when they’re not readying their weapons to fight off vile scourge? Well, some like Megumi tend to the shrine she was assigned to, Soliana continues on with her work for the Valkrus guild, and some like Kamala or Dakari live their normal lives. What about people like Sonyu and Nuova? Well, Nuova used to be a soldier in Alsara’s army, but as the kingdom has long since been abandoned, she lives a normal life and occasionally acts as a martial art instructor. Sonyu used to help her parents in the market, helping sell the produce they were able to nurture and cultivate; but now she wanders about acts as a traveling heroine of sorts while occasionally spending time in her village to help either the elder or her mother and father. However, this time around, Sonyu saw something that made filled her with a surge of inspiration.

In the market area of the city Nuova resides, Sonyu saw a rather spacious food stand for rent. Quickly telling Nuova about the discovery, Sonyu suggested that she and her best friend rent the abandoned stand for a while so they could prepare food as both a way to make a bit of extra money and as an exciting new activity to try out. Nuova, actually seeing the idea as good and wanting to spend a little time with Sonyu, agreed whole-heartedly. So, speaking with the owner of the stand, both Sonyu and Nuova convinced the owner to let them use it for a week so they could sell their food. While Nuova purchased various meat and seafood from the local market; Sonyu quickly traveled back home to purchase her village’s trusted fruits, vegetables, nuts, and herbs. After half a day of preparation, Sonyu and Nuova were ready to begin their culinary venture. While business was slow at first due to them being new, Sonyu and Nuova quickly gained business due to other stands being full and customers having no other option. However, as people tasted the food, many found themselves ordering seconds, and even thirds. As Nuova and Sonyu prepared various dishes, with the latter acting as both chef and waitress; many others came to taste the food that others had talked about so fondly. The money Sonyu and Nuova made was more than enough to recoup what they spent and then some! Over the course of the week they had the stand, Nuova and Sonyu’s short lived business flourished as various customers came to enjoy a fresh cooked meal by the duo! An exciting venture, both Nuova and Sonyu felt a deep sense of pride in what was supposed to be a simple change of pace; with the latter beaming brightly due to having shared her clan’s pride with those unfamiliar with the small village! A great deal of money and fun time in each other’s company, both Nuova and Sonyu agreed they would have to do this again sometime in the future!

Im sure when they open up again, people will flock to their little business in full force, wouldn’t you?
