Isn't Spike like "Hey, only I alone can bully that Kelion guy, ya nasty reptile !" ?
I kinda like the idea of Spikey actually having a scoach of goodness in him... maybe all of those good guys who look up to him rubbed off on him.
Actually, rather than him doing a good deed, I can imagine him more like saying something in the line: "Hey pal, this is my territory, got it? I do the ass kicking around here!"
