A small group of construction workers arrive at a remote building site to find the previous crew missing, and the equipment there strangely overgrown. What could have happened, and is it still around?
The answers, of course, are "the fae" and "yes".

This is a lovelyyy story. Faes are such mischievous and cute TF triggers!
Nothing like a boop on the nose and a simple utterance of an animal name to kick off their transformation with a mighty bellow~!

Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it. The fae are incredibly fun to write, which is probably why I revisit their antics so often.
Using a mobile to phish a Name is the excellent trick for fairies.
Of course, mobiles are made not from the Cold Iron, so they are fit for Fae magic.

Thank you. This story was a good chance to think about modern ways a fairy could obtain someone's name, and I think I found a couple fun ones.
I'm glad you included a bear - I do like it when you work in some larger animals.
If they stepped up their big fluffy tail game, they'd show up more often. I don't make the rules, but bigger tails are best tails.
Though abandoned TF always a bit sad, the things like the name teasing is a terrifying aspect applied well and well done in the Fey as the terrifying what they are. Wonderful triggers and transformation handling though. A very fun story.
Been working on some Fae tf work myself of late, so its ping ponging a lot in my head. Why these have been an extra treat.

Thank you; I've really hammered out how I want to write and implement fae in my work, and I'm pretty happy with where they are and the things I want to show through future narratives.
A little confusing that you can open older rtf files but not the newer ones; I'm not sure what would be different there.
