Here's a question for have you seen any wrestlers on all 4s?

i don't like the wrestler look the original had, I wanted a big, intimidating cat, not a wrestler.

How would a big fit the themes of the Alola Starters? Remember starting with Gen 4 all the starters had themes. 4 is base off myths, Gen 5 base of Different kinds of Kings, Gen 6 is base of DnD classes. Gen 7 is supposedly is base off Circus Performers.

I don't like that theme thing.

I wanted the adorable kitten to be a big tiger. I legit felt betrayed when I got Inceneroar.


Retvrn to starters like Bulbasaur or Mudkip

Then how would that work with the region if the starters were like the first 3 gens?

Then Pokémon will stale and boring.

They put heart and thought in the games not just the starters, but in all of Pokémon. They do research, they travel, they took risks and trying to make the Pokémon world feel alive. If they didn't take those risks then Pokémon would ended after Gen 3.

Lucario wouldn't exist. The Fairy type wouldn't exist. Hell the physical and special split wouldn't happen for the competitors. Everything after Gen 3 wouldn't exist today.

I'm fine with all of that, I'm just annoyed that my kitten pokemon became a lynx pokemon, then swerved into being a wrestler pokemon.

I'm fine with the new grass line since Meowscarada is built like a cat standing up.

Inceneroar is just a wrestler with a cat head and tail.

Incineroar is a tiger not a lynx. Also Incineroar is also be base off Tiger Mask. Meowscarada is base off a lynx.

Actually Torracat means Tiger Cat an extra R was put into Tora. Tora is translated to Tiger. Some elements of lynx made have been used, but it's still a tiger.

Hell I was disappointed in the Gen 8 Starters being monotype, but I guess Pokémon Company had their reasons. Though figure Cinderace would have been the 4th Fire/Fighting Starter.

Despite the infamous Chinese leak show the final evolution of the Starters. Grant it we some thought were fake.

The one thing that still bugs me about the Starters that still have the Male ratio then Female.

yeah, especially primarina, which is explictly feminine in design.

Primarina, Delphox, Meowscardia, Quaquaval, and Meganium. Those are a few Starters I could think that be more female. Though I'm sure some people could think Primarina could be a representation of trans.

Starter gender ratio needs to be fix. Also the Ice type need a major overhaul of resistance. Makes no sense some of the type ice is strong against aren’t resistance too.

Like how is soft dirt supposed to hurt ice?
