This expression of my dark side, this smile… tempting somehow, but more than anything: reassuring. There is some wisdom in these eyes… knowing that she will take care of me and lead me, support me wherever she can and who will always be at my side.

I always loved the yin-yang theme, since it is something very dear to my heart. In every light there is some darkness, and in every darkness there exists some light.

I personally do believe in balance and that you should also embrace your darker sides. They are a part of you, after all.
For me, Demonia always resembled a darker side of myself and was always there for me in a time, where I desperately wanted someone at my side. Someone protecting and standing in for me.

I can today proudly say, that I learned more and more to stand up for myself. So to say, becoming more and more Demonia myself. Still, I love her depicted separately and being able to let Demonia out of me and express this inner side of myself within this community.

I see myself as a pretty good person (and I was even more of a good/innocent being in my childhood), which is represented by the person in white robes. The figure is actually pretty accurate to how I look in real life. The dark counterpart is of course my other side, Demonia, which resembles some darker attributes like anger, sadism and thirst for vengeance, but also seduction and sexuality. In this image, Demonia is tempting my lighter site to take her hand and experiencing new paths, but also reassuring to guide me on my ways and always stand by and protecting me. I just love these two sides of myself depictured side by side.
