As I said before pictures of Steele don't usually catch My eye, but this is magnificent.
Despite Steele is implied to be a domestic dog, looks like he is also very experienced to live in the wilderness and nicely skilled in hunting/fishing. I love how you are drawing Steele with such bulky and fluffy body. And also I liked the fresh in all meanings background and atmosphere of Alaskan nature.
Thank you! I really like his pronounced features in the movie, so I tried to keep them in despite the more realistic artstyle :)
You are welcome too, and I am agree with you. These features were one of my favorite and also I liked how Steele was expressively animated in facial expressions and body language. I love the style of Balto and I am trying to draw the characters towards this style too. But your Balto fanart is having an interesting fusion where original style of Balto is meeting with your realistic style and the result is turning out very good.
Yes, it was sometimes challenging but exploring the style and learn was interesting and fun. Thanks for Balto, I was able to not only return to drawing but also I was able to really improve my drawing skills and reach the new levels.
