A very old fashoned highland dwarf explaining to an off-guard soldier his disappointment for their forced expropriation of his clan's farm.
This is more like a veeeery off-canon rendering than a real collab, because i pretty much just wanted to redraw a Vucari uniform with proper lightning :P

This is brilliant! Crazy 'ol Dwarves are tougher than they look. Great sense of motion in this pic- and surprise. Perhaps the Vucari underestimated the situation a little...
I also simplified the uniform and "assigned" the soldier to explore a modest barn environment to give the impression he's just a recruit versus a callous old dwarf. It's hard to believe that a well trained soldier wouldt have been fooled by such a simple ruse.
Do you mind if I start posting these up on my page, giving you full credit for the work? I might write little stories for each of the paintings to add to the immersion. Granted, most people don't bother to read, but it can't hurt!

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure he is going to draw the wolf guy ( or at least similar looking characters ) more often. Also, he has done at least one more recently, if you haven't seen it. ( Well, not solo, and no, not pr0n, but it has more of these uniformed wolf guys. )

Wow. As always, the coloring and shading are top-notch, and that's an awesome angle and perspective with a very dynamic composition. And I swear you get better and better at wolves with every iteration.

Okay, I thought I did but I wasn't sure. I remember now I wanted it along with the kingly robes. Awesome, that means your skills will get to be applied to the Urquhart tartan after all. :D
