Another commission from rancid , this time involving https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33320403/ and https://www.furaffinity.net/view/56674089/ and it looks like the former is going to get her wish...
Tessina and Willowsong met in New Absalon, not to join the endless parade of ruin runners desperate to plunder the ruins of Old Absalon but to ply their trade at Miracle Market as performers and message carriers. The two hit it off almost right away and it wasn't long before they gathered together a group a of like-minded individuals who chose to ply their trades rather than their adventuring skills. An argument surfaces because some of the group members wanted to broaden their financial horizons towards black-market artifacts, prostitution, and smuggling. Both Tessina and Willowsong didn't want to have anything to do with such things but the rest of their group did, so the two bards struck out on their own.
This turned out to be fortunate as a month later their former group disappeared entirely into the black market. But that is a story for another day.
Eventually, Tessina brought up her love of conjoinment., and Willowsong found herself intrigued enough by the idea that she wanted ti try it out -- as part of a performance! Tessina loved the idea and for several weeks the two practiced using alter self spells. They discovered rather quickly that although they could sing while stuck together, more vigorous performances such as dancing caused a loss of concentration and ended the spell.
Here is where Willowsong's more technical knowledge of magic prevailed. A single greater hat of disguise was very expensive even if they made their own, and each would need one. Comparatively, trying to invent a conjoinment spell might be cheaper! Tessina mentioned bringing it up to New Absalon's Wizard Guild; after all, if they couldn't convince the Wizards to go along with their plan, then they really weren't very good Bards now were they??
Turns out that getting the Wizards interested in spell research was a little harder than they thought, but one again Willowsong's practicality came through: they agreed to use their Bardic abilities to assist the Wizards in their magical crafting! The Wizards were very excited -- this was in fact an expensive service the two were offering! An agreement was reached, and it was off to the races!
These days, Tessina and Willowsong divide their time between busking and the Wizards Guild. They've made surprising friends with the latter; wizards aren't humorless but often possess a dry saracstc wit that the two find hilarious! Tessina and Willowsong don't spend any time apart (literally) if they can hep it, but a permanent form of conjonment still eludes them. With everything they've learned, they can generaly manage about a few hours each day of 'together-time'. Turns out developing a conjoinment spell is harder than the Wizards thought but they are confident that a solution can be found.
This picture depicts the two in one of their favorite forms, but it is by no means their only one. And Tessina's Wndigo issues seem to have been solved.
For now, ayways...

I wonder if the wizards test their spells first or if they just cast on them blindly
