I commissioned this great image of the Can Opener from Pino44io over on DeviantArt. The Eightball and her crew were supporting characters in Empires: Ace of Spades and Empires: Morrigan's War in the pages of YARF! and the story/universe was created by Chris "Arik" Grant. Erma Felna (in pin-up form) belongs to Steve Gallacci.

Thank you for reminding me about that. Chris Grant told me about the meaning behind the art that was on the side of The Can Opener in Empires: Ace of Spades and how it was a nod to Erma Felna.
Chris Grant was a fan of Erma Felna and that is why he made the reference.
I have to say, add some wheels & old fashioned Headlamps (and not referring to those already present on the pin-up!) to it, and honestly it would look kind of like a late WWI or 1920's/30's Armored Car variant? 🙂
