was he an eevee before this or did his mother hook up with an eevee?
I'm tempted to recite a well known (and made up) fact about vaporeon. but I won't.
on the plus side this would make for a great transformation for a marine biologist.
The other plus side, clothing will be relatively easy to get since you body is mostly the same size, plus one big tail. Some forms require a whole wardrobe change, like say arcanine, or being still male but with a more feminine physique like a male lopunny.
there is a drawback i could see, do Vaporeons need more water than a normal fur? i would imagine probably have to hydrate way more often. also sleeping in a bathtub or in a the pool might also be an option, but might be uncomfortable. that's just what i thought of. hmm would they be more prone to get sunburns? probably going to need to slather gallons of sunscreen might be needed as well. these are just random thoughts.
I love thoughts like this, sleeping in a bathtub as a vaporeon would be pretty fun, and when it comes to the hydration either that or they can produce their own water from like water pokemon abilities/attacks no?
I like to run through the implications of transformations. Also would they count as the sixth pokemon on their team, or would they still be allowed to carry six other pokemon? Guessing they would probably be a good lifegaurd or if they wanted more action, a fire fighter (we have seen this in the show as a common thing for water types). I bet they probably have to really bundle up in winter as not to freeze. Guess there are a lot of things to consider before taking on a pokeform
Oh definitely! so much fun stuff to figure out! Imagine you count as a sixth pokemon in your team and coming into action yourself, does that mean you have to train yourself as well?
yeah you would have to train yourself, i mean like anu "athlete" you got to train. I'm guessing since trainers black out/faint when their sixth pokemon is defeated, that doesn't really change either. Though i do see one advantage that you would have going onto the battle field yourself, no need to call out attacks, which could put the other trainer at a disadvantage, so to combat that there would be two leagues. One for PokeMorphs that want to join in the battle that will count as the sixth pokemon, and one where they don't. Technically a standard human could hypothetically count as the team's sixth as well, like LT. Surge, that man could easily go head to head with standard pokemon. Yeah that's so the pokemorphs can face off against others as well. Pokemorphs would technically have Seven pokemon, though only six maybe used in one battle, including themselves.this would mean they would have a pokemon in a floater spot, and can only be switched in and out the main party out of combat.
As to the battle themselves, you are still restricted to a held item. for pokemorphs, they do get ONE healing item as well, since you can't rummaging through a bag in the middle of a fight, and that is only against other pokemorphs (have no idea if this is the proper term, but i'll just continue using it). though you can't have two full restores, but you can have a Berry and a Full Restore. (in keeping with the "pokemon" can't use human items rule for held items) If a battle comes down to two (or more) pokemorphs, the first one unable to battle is declared the loser like the normal, usually before blackout, like first knee on the ground usually sufficient, no one is asking you to push yourself to your limit, this is for fun after all. Though yes if you want to continue you have to agree BEFORE the match how far, all the way up to knocked out.
okay as i mentioned above there might be a case where more than one pokemorph is on a team, like the regular tag team battle, can either go one vs one, or doubles, and yes in doubles you may have four pokemorphs on the field.
one last point, Physical attacks like punching and kicking are on the table, since technically during battle trainers can give commands like "dodge that attack" or "go left/right" not actual attacks. Yes there might be pokemorphs that pull a "rock lee" and just specialize in physical attacking. TECHNICALLY all pokemon have one physical attack when all moves are depleted, Struggle.
sorry if i rambled on here, but i think this sort of discussion only makes the image better.

Agreed, we always get the buff Arcanine or houndooms, but more svelte males forms definitely should be more common.
