Chapter 4
When we resumed the next morning, Super C and the C.I.D.F. soldiers in charge of the documentation filled me in some more on why we were seeing what we were seeing. “It’s not enough variety,” I commented, “because I can see we’re getting more soldiers and musicians than anything else, and on top of that, more percussionists. I’m grateful for all the drummers, believe me.”
The Cat was also asking a few questions about it. “I like to parade on my bare feet,” he said, “but I have the full uniform on as you can see. Why do have so many half-naked animals?”
“Have you heard of a children’s show that was on WBC entitled ‘The Adventures of Drummer Dog?’” Super C replied.
“I might have,” said the Cat, “because the West Point Band has played some music from that show.”
“For whatever reason, it cast the animals that way. There’s clothes on the top, but not the bottom. When CNG got to them, it didn’t just turn them from a human to an animal. It also magically changed their clothes to this type of uniform, but made them half-naked, because they were regular viewers of the show. We’ve been advising them on how to cope with the embarrassment.”
“Now I understand.”
“You might have noticed that they’re not appearing half-naked here,” said one of the C.I.D.F. soldiers, “but we did ask them to show us photos of what that looks like, because they’re appearing with the pants to match here at Trophy Point, but still padding (barefoot). As for why there are more drummers and percussionists than the other families of instruments, that’s a reference to how CNG was wrong about Kriegland.”
“That one I knew.”
39. This day’s session began with two wildcats in purple drum major uniforms, and both were playing corps-style snare drums on the march. The second one was a case of being a half-naked cat originally. Neither cat had any headgear, but we weren’t requiring it.
40. A wildcat in a blue drum major uniform playing a football snare drum, although he was also originally half-naked. He wore a blue peaked cap with a black rim, and the silver logo on the cap represented his local police department, which he chose as a way to pay tribute to a few officers who died in the line of duty. He served as this day’s drummer of honor, so he set his drum aside to play the concert snare drum that the drummer of honor used. He also agreed with Leo the Patriotic Lion’s philosophy that the most important drum roll a drummer will ever beat is the one that leads to the playing of our national anthem, and he proved it here today.
41. Another wildcat in a purple drum major uniform, although he had silver highlights, while the last three had gold highlights. He was also half-naked. “I did find it embarrassing,” he said, “but I thank you for the advice you gave me about that subject.”
42. A wildcat in a green drum major uniform with gold highlights, playing a corps-style snare drum.
43. A wildcat in a blue drum major uniform with silver highlights, playing a football snare drum.
44. A wildcat in a red drum major uniform with gold highlights, although he was wearing navy blue pants. He also played a corps-style snare drum, and he was the younger brother of the cat serving as the drummer of honor. The two saluted each other, then us, and then the younger brother marked time (marched in place) while playing his own drum solo.
45. Two more wildcats in purple drum major uniforms, with the second one being a half-naked cat originally, and both played the trumpet. “I can tell you,” he said, “that I originally had digitrade paws. Why am I now marching on plantigrade paws?” The photos he showed us confirmed this truth.
“That we cannot explain,” we said. “I think CNG just thought it made a big mistake.”
46. As far as these embarrassing cases of half-naked animals were concerned, the bear was the animal that had the biggest amount of results for this. However, only two of the next four grizzly bears we documented had originally ended up as half-naked bears. All four wore green drum major uniforms with gold highlights, and all four played the trumpet. Their favorite thing to play was the famous fanfare to 20th Century Fox (today known as 20th Century Studios), and the West Point Band (plus Black Wolf Troop 222) humored them by playing the fanfare along with them.
47. Three Bengal tigers currently serving in the United States Air Force, and all three played the trumpet. Each one wore a custom uniform they had ordered from “Uniforms ‘R’ Us,” based on the formal dress uniform. The first one had a blue uniform, while the third one wore a gray uniform, and the second one’s uniform was somewhere in between blue and gray. All three wore the standard garrison cap.
48. Another Bengal tiger serving in the U.S. Air Force, also playing the trumpet. He wore an ABU, but still had the garrison cap.
49. Two Bengal tigers in the U.S. Air Force, each playing a military field drum. Both wore their ABUs, although the first one experimented with the uniform design by adding a dress shirt and tie underneath it. The tigers were not brothers to one another, but each one was a brother to one of the trumpeters, namely the first and second one.
50. Three human-sized gray rats (as opposed to actual size), only one of which had originally been half-naked. All three wore a red drum major uniform with gold highlights and blue pants, and a white plume on the shako. Their shakos were numbered 1, 2, and 3.
51. Three human-sized mice (as opposed to actual size), the first two of which had been half-naked. They were all drummers who found ways to play their concert snare drums on the march, since they didn’t know their superpowers they had gained allowed them to summon any instrument and play it professionally.
The third mouse commented on how his father was a decorated soldier in the U.S. Army, but had recently passed away from stomach cancer. As a kind gesture, we allowed him to play a drum roll with the snares off, equivalent to when a field drummer muffles his drum to give it that haunting tom-tom sound. Then one of the rats played “Taps,” and we all saluted at the end.
52. A red fox in a fancy white tuxedo with black bowtie, and a white fedora. He worked a corporate job, but his job asked to keep anonymous, so we agreed. “Even if I didn’t,” he said, “I still like to dress up fancy like this.”
53. Five more red foxes in a fancy black tuxedo with bowtie. They were all millionaires to start with, having been born into wealthy families, but they still worked honest jobs to maintain their integrity.
54. Four more foxes wearing a fancy black tuxedo with bowtie, but they also had a top hat. They were magicians, and they impressed us with a variety of tricks, ranging from card tricks to the traditional pulling a rabbit out of the hat. CNG had given them the powers that truly made it magic.
55. Two gray wolves in purple drum major uniforms, although they wore black pants, in addition to the gold highlights, and both of them again played the corps-style snare drum. (That was apparently the drum of choice when CNG did this wave.) Their shakos did not have a plume.
56. Two foxes wearing a fancy tuxedo with bowtie and black pants, although the first fox’s jacket was actually red with black rims, while the second had a black jacket. They had been the private teachers to the wolves playing the drums. “We planned to include the drum set in these lessons,” they said, “but if CNG had done this to them, we won’t have to bother. It’s all instinct.”
57. Five beagles wearing green military-style drum major uniforms with gold highlights.
58. Four beagles wearing blue military-style drum major uniforms with gold highlights.
59. Three more beagles in green military-style drum major uniforms with gold highlights. The first two had a military field drum each, while the third had a military bass drum.
60. Eight more beagles in blue military-style drum major uniforms with silver highlights. The dogs all had football drums on them; the first two had a snare drum, while the next two had the tenor drums, or quads (although the second of these two had quints, or five drums). The third pair had bass drums, while the fourth pair had cymbals.
61. Two more beagles in green military-style drum major uniforms, although the second one also had a green bowtie. Both played the corps-style snare drum.
62. Three beagles all wearing the business suit and tie, although one had glasses. All three were jazz drummers, although the one with the glasses said he usually played fusion more so than proper jazz.
63. We then had some of those circus convention attendees, which is another reason we saw so many animals in drum major uniforms. The first two beagles wore the ringmaster outfit, and impressed us with their announcing ability.
64. Four more beagles dressed as the ringmaster of a circus, top hat included. The third one wore an Uncle Sam-style hat to go with the patriotic theme of his outfit.
65. Four golden retrievers wearing green drum major uniforms with golden highlights, and a green shako with green plume. The dogs represented circus bandleaders. These bandleaders accompanied each ringmaster beagle at the big circus convention in Wildcat City.
66. A Bengal tiger in a military-style black drum major uniform with a white peaked cap. He played a military field drum in the parade.
67. Four more Bengal tigers currently serving in the U.S. Army, and each one played a hybrid marching drum. In other words, while it looked like a football marching snare drum, it sounded closer to a corps-style or a concert snare drum. All four wore formal dress uniforms of the U.S. Army, but the first one’s was dark blue, while the second and third had a black uniform, and the fourth one’s uniform was army green. This tiger had a dress shirt and tie with the uniform.
All four wore a peaked cap.
68. Eight lions dressed as the ringmaster of a circus, complete with the top hat.
69. Four golden retrievers dressed in green drum major uniforms with golden highlights, each accompanying one of the lions as their bandleader.
70. Four white tigers, two male and two female, also wearing green drum major uniforms with golden highlights and the shako to match, also serving as the bandleaders. The two tigresses were sisters, but the two male tigers weren’t related. The two tigresses played the flute and clarinet, respectively.
71. Eight white lions dressed as ringmasters.
72. Four white Bengal tigers in green drum major uniforms with gold highlights, although wearing white pants. They served as the accompanying bandleaders to the last four white lions.
73. Four natural-colored lions dressed as ringmasters.
74. Four Bengal tigers wearing the green drum major uniform with gold highlights and green shako to match, accompanying each lion as their bandleader. The first two had green pants to match, while the other two had white pants with a green stripe going down each leg. The fourth tiger revealed that while he never had any military service, he had been a personal friend of Larry Prunes from his human years; Larry eventually turned into a white lion himself, being the very last one that CNG had transformed, and now he serves the G-52s as the Lion of Nobility.
“I ended up in the same boat as him,” said the tiger. “I was less than six feet tall when I was a human. Now I am over six feet tall, and my feet are too big for my shoes, so I am parading on my bare paws now, at least until I can find shoes to fit me.”
“That was just CNG trying to be unpredictable,” we explained, “even though it wasn’t. In Larry’s case, he found that his physical strength had increased. Was it that way if you?”
“Uh, no. I don’t think so. I think I’m still the slim but athletically built type.”
We checked to be sure, and saw that this was so.
We’ll take a break now.

A Fourth Wave of Transformations (Chapter 4)
Yet another sequel to my stories of C.I.D.F. documentation, which consists of the C.I.D.F. documenting every individual that was once a human being, but had been transformed into an anthro animal permanently from the CNG effects. The purpose is to figure out why CNG did this to the specific individual, and also to keep them safe from the forces of evil. It also will allow SuperCat to see if he has any potential new recruits in the G-52 Organization, since both organizations are sister organizations to one another. The story was based on my experience using Bing Image Creator, but FurAffinity doesn't allow AI-generated art. (Using it did help me somewhat because I cannot draw.)
