There was no good existing card to truly represent Darkstalker's power, so it's demanded he have his own custom card of course! I don't see MtG using the cipher mechanic very much, I think it needs some love, and its perfect for an animus me thinks.
I was having fun with this one for sure, I wanted to get into the MtG side of things of making multiple versions of a card down to different languages. I once again used the designs and style of Mike Holmes for the card, although sadly we only have like two instances of him drawn in the graphic novel, so there is a chance that some parts of what I drew are incorrect to the canon of the graphic novels.
I have yet to build a deck around him, I'll probably get to it when I have a bit more free time. This was absolutely made for commander. And yes the other language you see is the series' Pyrrhian from the cancelled Netflix show, although the numbers and some other things had to be invented.
Will I do more Wings of Fire cards? Who's to say?

As an MTG fan for a good year now (thx Command Zone XD) I love it when artists here do there own custom cards with some really great ideas/mechanics that can work in Commander
