Marle loved apples, especially the really tart, sour ones. It was something of an acquired taste for Max, but she'd bring him some spares from the fruit trees they grew just in case he wanted to have some. He was always appreciative of her efforts at harvesting the fruit since it prevented him from scampering up those trunks to precariously pick the hanging apples. She had the height advantage and he was all willing to let her pick. When he had to go away to Livarnu for his job that helped pay for their living situation, she'd elect to stay behind since she wanted no part of that country due to traumatic memories and people that lived there. However, she'd still take Max, the plushy she made specifically of him, out with her on her harvesting sessions. In some small way, he was with her when she enjoyed some of her favorite foods.
