This is THE angle I took. Although this portrayal of Nightmare Moon/ Luna was a joke there is still a sympathetic light I'd like to paint her in because considering how little it took to save her vs how long she was imprisoned on the moon.

I know that after 1,000 years in solitary confinement, I'd be more than a bit mad. Probably a little angry, too!

Nice, but who's she talking to? The colouration makes me think Scootaloo, but Scootaloo doesn't have any siblings (as of yet, anyway)...

It's an alternate universe where Rainbow Dash is Scoot's big sister.

This was actually my favorite image of the series, although it was for a reason that was different than the intended. My view of the set was, when one is hurt or disillusioned by their hero or someone they look up to, they may turn to someone else to fill that void- and that other person may not be good for them in the long run.

Still, this is by far *the* most beautiful representation of Nightmare Moon I have ever seen. I am still in awe of it.

Even now, I still see Luna/Nightmare Moon in a sympathetic light mainly because her back-story is one that really draws you in yet so far, we haven't heard much more from it outside stories and her apparent forgiveness of her sister. :P

Not to sound like a fantard but I feel that Celestia is...bland, mainly because she isn't really given anything to do outside of look pretty and be perfect to the other ponies. I have yet to see all this 'prankster' aspect a lot of people talk about and it just didn't sit with me that we had to settle with Celestia rather than Luna, the pony who had a story and character worth developing for the entire first season. Well, at least season 2 is coming which means more Luna. I also hope that she at least gets some sort of upgrade because I can't be the only one who thinks its unfair that Celestia has all the glitter and glam while lil sis Luna is stuck looking like a slightly larger pony but with horns and wings. :P

Ya know, I AM curious how one would avoid losing sanity being isolated for 1000 years ._.
