The Besugos are one such fellow-fur species, annexed after the azdoves helped a faction of Besugos destroy a non-fur species they were sharing their home planet (Sulka) with.

Now that the Besugos are an Azdov vassal, law enforcement on Sulka and other Besugo worlds wear azdov-style uniforms. As you can see this traditional older besugo woman is unhappy to see said uniform.
