Before I continue, want to know more about Ailith, the Cult of the Eternal Devourer? Check that out here as it's basically a sequel post and the "rituals" they may partake in as you can find further context here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/55680179/
Now with that out of the way? We finally get to see one of the cult's most powerful rituals. This would be summoning the "Eternal Devourer" as they nicknamed it as it's what their cult centers around. For unbeknownst to Thomza, Ailith is a very powerful Scriptwright who knows how to "drag things out" of them and unlock more barbaric forms of potential. As you can see this form is a more corrupted version of Thomza's fat fairy tale cartoon dragon transformation, however there's a more "vicious" maskless twist to it. A being still made out of primordial ooze to invoke absolute terror and horror into entire armies as not even heroes of legend will be able to halt their destructive path. What they have is a spiritual entity who can effortlessly rival gods and leave a universe destroyed in its wake, thankfully, Thomza still has *some* control of this barbaric state even with a wild shift of their personality and abilities. If you want to learn more about Thomza's draconic form, this is merely a more extreme side of it, and you can find the original or "basic" state here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/55530060/
...It is still no surprise that Thomza would absolutely hate this form and or even allowing Ailith to summon it within them. Thomza is horrified that one day they'll have no control, go too far, and destroy a whole lot more than just their foes. Ailith believes that they're against impossible odds, so why not summon something that's been with them all along to face the unknown and otherworldly? That Angel-Tech alone has trillions upon trillions of human soldiers, he can't just keep hiding in the Realm of Materia forever. The same can be said about the other cults roaming around Materia, King Keii, and so many other threats who keep leaking in and invading. She wants the fight to be taken to them instead of just sitting around on home defense. Thomza on the other hand thinks there should be no violence spread at all, and she can keep her barbaric rituals to herself.
Other than that? There's not much for me to say, have a good day everyone, thank you for reading everyone!
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales Universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone.

That is unbelievable to see with the amazing play on colors! I absolutely love the use of scale for the cult's Deity and I'm stoked to see how this world's cultures and people can expand further with more of your stories or ideas!
