Aforementioned dude mentioned in the previous post. Here's more about him!
Zach is an often sleep-deprived, tired dude living in a flat with his roommate. He works some boring middle-class job and spends his free time up late looking at true crime or reading mediocre thriller mystery books. Other times he'll watch Niteflix Prime with his roomie (they have a friend who shares the password with 7 others) or fall asleep in chairs.
His roommate seems to accidentally get a lot of random sized clothing so he makes frequent runs to donate those to thrift stores.
As brought up in the previous post, Zach is obsessed with solving the mysterious series of missing persons cases in the area lately. He's not a licensed detective (and usually a nuisance to the actual ones) but he spends hours fruitlessly trying to crack the case. His roomie is unenthusiastic, but still engages sometimes- giving him encouraging messages like "you're doing great" or expressing how "these missing people are weighing heavily on me" or just giving a hug, saying "I'm sure they're very close by." So nice of her!
tl;dr conspiracy nut and crime enthusiast trying to solve disappearances

does he believe that aliens are behind the disappearances?
Aliens, the FBI, zombies, underground dweller monsters, hollow earth people, lizard men, the shadow government, unmarked vans taking people to government blacksites to be turned into the aforementioned underground dweller monsters. Anything and everything stupid- he'd never suspect anyone close to him is up to it though.
I wouldn't call him full conspiracy theorist, but he definitely believes in aliens
