I understand what it’s like to have ear pain. Back in the 12th grade, my left ear was seriously infected for some reason and it hurt like heck, it was unbearable.

Ughhhh gods, that would awful. I have permanent tinnitus, but... minor enough that if I don't think about it, it's okay - not a fun thing to live with. I hope you find a fix - waiting until July is insane!

Not much better in Canada; my neighbour had an ear infection that gave him a blockage that's causing him massive pain. He was told he can't see a specialist until June (and that was last month). :/

A good recommendation for dealing with tinnitus passively while you have to wait is to get some good white noise, like rain or a decently noisy fan. Tinnitus, if you didn't know already, is ringing where there is no noise, so just having some passive white noise in the background will help dull it down. Can't do much about the pain part, I'd probably say the usual counter towards passive pain, but that might not work for too long. Just make sure to take care. A strategy I use for getting sleep when troubled is to concentrate on one specific thing, like imagining a nice gathering of you and your family, fictional or not. Just a calm serene scene. Cannot confirm how well that'd work with what you've got, but it's how I work to get sleep when my mind's active and I'm having trouble just getting to the sleep part.
