Games for adults? Most likely it is chess. These are proper Victorians, after all, and..
Wait a minute. Victorians.
Oh dear.

Oh dear.
I nearly spit out my coffee.
Victorians, indeed.
On the other hoof, we know somehow proceed from drinking wine and talking about a supposed fun box to a bound buck while bear and lionesses--have fun.

On page 6, the bear accused someone, presumably the buck, of cheating.
Uh oh! Hmmmmm...I really do wonder what's in the box!
Now I wonder what Walter thinks Hawthorne thinks is in the box...that isn't.
Also great expressions on this page! Hawthorne and Sinh in particular.

Walter must know what's both in the box and what's in Aransas Hawthorne's green bag.
think i temporarily ruined the comic for my self every time they say funbox. i keep hearing the super daycare fun box song on fairly odd parents episode XD then the vicky version XD
The old "Super happy fun ball" skit always comes into my head when I say the words fun box.
russian roulette is a game for adults :O cmon buck bro get ur head in the game
NO NOT THAT ONE

*very loud laugh*

...And one of the most important jobs of any servant is the perfectly-timed entry. ;)
It would fit the character. A big game hunter from Texas? I think he likes taking chances.
Going to have some high stakes here, I also enjoy Sinh's expression in the second to panel a lot :)
He's a bit confused. He's saying the right words but is Aransas Hawthorne getting the right meaning?
Thank you for "hot as a pot of neck bones". That's going in my vernacular.
That phrase is supposedly an Texas saying, but I think it sounds strange and wonderful coming out of a deer's mouth.
Though it's already been said, the expression on Sinh is really spectacular.
I am loving this comic
p.s. the next button in this one isn't working.
