Personality:

Hunter is a very mellow and laid back kind of guy.
He can’t be bothered with getting into fights or scraps and does his best to avoid them. He’d much sooner just talk and try to dispel the tension from the atmosphere than resort to aggression or violence.
That's not to say he won't fight if he has to, but it's very rare for him to do so and more often than not in self defence.

He’s a friendly guy who typically minds his own business.
Hard working and yet lazy at the same time. If he’s got a job he’ll do it properly (although perhaps a little clumsily depending on the job since he’s not an expert at everything), but will take time for himself and go easy when an opportunity presents itself or he’s got nothing else going on.
He loves to sleep! And he’s not exactly what you’d call a morning person either, but once he’s up and about he’s fairly hard working assuming there's anything to do.

He’s a bit of a goofball and the type to joke and have a laugh if he can, but knows when to be serious and when to clown around.




About:

Hunter lives alone on a little farm hidden away in a pine forest forest with 2 horses, 2 chickens and a cat named Bones (who has a story of his own).
He moved here from a large city to get away from the snobbery and bigotry of his people, but by day he works in a little village not too far away as a blacksmith as his main occupation and a farrier as a side business ran in the same location.


The village he works in now is less bigoted and also less opinionated about his transition and other things that set him apart from high feline and there he’s just the local blacksmith.
Not a shame on his people, not a target for abuse. He’s just the guy who makes things out of metal and puts shoes on horses.
It also helps that the village has a lot of diversity and the locals range from various different species.
A welcome change from the all feline city he came from.


Other:
Canonically Hunter is able to shapeshift into different animals and other humanoid creatures, and can detect the languages of said animals and humanoid creatures and communicate with them too.
He gained the abilities from his mother who was a druidic bobcat.

★ Can shapeshift into any animal or humanoid race as long as he’s seen it before.
(humanoid races such as orcs, fae, tieflings, tabaxi and so on)

★ Some entry level magic abilities such as minor healing, feather fall, object illumination.

★ Can communicate with animals and other humanoid races without having to learn the language. This is only vocal however, he can not read any writing he has not learned.




Strengths:

✔ Usually thinks things through before acting.
✔ Tough skinned, he can take a fair amount of verbal abuse and insults without reacting.
✔ Does know a bit about fighting with a sword, though doesn’t typically carry one.
✔ Is a good blacksmith, he knows his way around a forge! And being a blacksmith he recognises when something has been well crafted, particularly weaponry like swords and daggers.
✔ Dark vision allows him to see better in low light.
✔ Good hearing, those ears ain't just for aesthetics!



Weaknesses:

✘ He’s not the most agile either, in fact he’s kind of stocky in build and carries a little extra weight around the middle.
