The devotion of the half-buried man
He doesn't have long. He shouldn't be alive as it is.
What will happen to the flower when he can no longer nourish it? Will it flourish in the dark without him? Will it wither and die? Will someone come along and crush it, now that he can't protect it anymore?
It's not his fate to know.

I'm surprised that blood and bones sticking out of a cut-in-half body is considered for "general audiences"! XD
But that aside, I really love this! I love the contrast of something so beautiful and colorful is created by a creature that looks so gray and weak - On the verge of dying itself, even... As if they are using their last bit of strength to create this colorful plant, or perhaps they are transfering their last bit of life energy into this last creation.
Makes you wonder how powerful they were when they were in their prime days! But certainly also makes you wonder what might happen next... I like that it is free to interpret :)
I love how you did the light on their face and eye <3 :o

I'm not tagging bones and a drop of blood as ''mature content.'' The lion king has more bones and more blood than this, Judy Hopps. :] <3 :0
THANK YOU! So very much. <3 It's a really important one for me, I'm so glad you enjoy it.
You did wonderful with the colors and just everything. It really just POPS.
