Rise of Siegfried
In Draconis one of it islands is Ostrheinsburg a island on the edge of the kingdom it often used for battles in the past has such it has a Castle and a noble lord he ruled over the island for the Dragon king Siegfried is the Son of a brave knight named Frederick who was one of Ike Royal guards who was task with watching over Ostrheinsburg along with a few other royal guards the Schtauffen family line can be trace back to a Baxcalibur used by Paldea Elite Four Hassel Siegfried was trained by his father and would become a powerful knight and learn everything about swordsmanship form this father however he would go fight in a small war happening outside of the kingdom because of some groups of dragons who banished some of them come together to try to take the kingdom for them self's Siegfried was somewhat cocky and arrogant, never stopping to achieve what he desires and with out his father around to without his father's guidance, Siegfried began to socialize with a delinquent clan of teenagers, and he soon became the leader of their band of thieves known as "Schwarzwind," meaning "black wind." In a misguided act of national pride, the band devised a plan to attack the knights who ran away from war as they were bound to carry valuable possessions, and were too cowardly to deserve respect in any case as any that lived would be their perm diapers That night, the "Schwarzwind" ambushed a group of war-weary soldiers, too tired to retaliate . Siegfried even managed to kill the commander himself standing over the body as his gang was putting on who they turn into diapers that had lived however as moonlight shone on its face, and Siegfried screamed as he realized it was his father he just killed In mere seconds, Siegfried's mind had broken upon which point he ran straight into the forest, becoming more and more insane as he ruminated over his previous acts, until he came to a point at which he psychologically convinced himself that his father's murderer was actually someone other than himself. Hearing rumours of the invincible Soul Edge, Siegfried came to believe his father's killer could only be killed with said weapon with this he disbanded from the clan to seek it out

Search for Soul Edge
He travelled first to Ostrheinsburg Castle, the refuge of the noble Sir Stefan, who he believed to be the possessor of the Soul Edge; and he joined in its forces as a Landsknecht, rising in its ranks with the hopes of acquiring Stefan's self-proclaimed legendary blade. During a surprise siege on the castle, Siegfried saw an opportunity to take Sir Stefan's prized possession, the sword Grimblade and fled during the confusion however running off with it into the Black Woods nearby the castle; but the sword held no power. Frustrated, he continued to search for weeks for the Soul Edge, growing increasingly more insane for its power as time passed. He finally managed to come across the legendary weapon Soul Edge, lying beside the defeated corpse of the dead pirate, Cervantes de Leon. But as he reached for it, the corpse lit up in a hellish blaze of fire and attacked him. Siegfried raised his zweihänder and defeated the fiery Inferno, breaking his sword in the process, earning the right to wield the Soul Edge for himself.

Becomeing The Azure Knight
At the precise moment that Siegfried obtained the cursed blade, the Evil Seed emanated from him in a beam of light. At that moment Siegfried heard the voice of the wicked sword, who arranged a deal with him Siegfried would help the blade to restore itself by gathering souls, and Soul Edge would resurrect his father Frederick. Siegfried accepted and carried the blade into many slaughters, until he finally succumbed to the sword's restored powers, transforming him into the Azure Knight, Nightmare.

Death of Ostrheinsburg
The First of his slaughters was the banished dragons who started the war in one night he had attacked their base and slaughter ever last Dragon there making him become Nightmare and left by the time Draconis forces had reach the base they was shocked at what they saw and wonder who did a few days later the people of Ostrheinsburg what seem to be a Baxcalibur in dark blue armour His prominent feature is his right arm, which has been twisted and transformed into a large three-digit claw whose flesh overlaps his entire right arm and shoulder looking like a demon Calling it self Nightmare it attacked and no matter who face it was cut down and it bring a army with it of Pokémon that seems to be turn into monsters or driven to madness this kind of affliction caused by the sword power would later be known as Malfested in a few hours all of Ostrheinsburg had fallen with what few survivors had escaped to the main land of Draconis to tell Ike what just happen hearing about the sword he made a call to anyone who knew about the sword Lucky was one of them he come and told Ike that the sword is a evil sword that was forged in the distant past of the Mew era likely in it early stages as an ordinary two-handed sword, but after being bathed in blood, hatred, and death it developed a malevolent will capable of taking over its wielder. The first named bearer of Soul Edge was the Hero King, Algol, whose strong will conquered the evil intelligence of the blade and Algol near the end of his life was force to defeated Soul Edge after it taken over his son this end up killing him so Algol with help of one of the firstborn mews purified fragments of Soul Edge and forged them into the holy blade Soul Calibur, at the cost of his life the sword was last see in the Mew era near it end but it was believed to be destroyed for good as it never reappeared in the human era lucky told the dragon king that he had to bring down who ever this Nightmare is as it a evil that who not exist as even the diaper gods wish for it destruction with that Ike lead the Draconis army into Ostrheinburg this did bring warriors form other parts of the world into the battle drawn by the Sword in some way one of them having Soul Calibur and with it beat the evil army and Nightmare.

Breaking free
After many years Ike son Kinryu had taken over as King of the Kingdom however even under his Rule Ostrheinsburg was left abandoned and forbidden to go to by all but those under Kilkyo as they slowly purifying the land of the evil the Sword left and seeking out all traces of it as it known to make people go mad or turn into Malfested however soon the Azure Knight, Nightmare was seen in the world however sometime before he was seen there Siegfried was aware that although he had regained his sanity and learned to accept his past sins from three years ago, he was not yet fully redeemed. He knew that Soul Edge still held power over him, but now it used its strength in his sleep, and no matter how hard he tried not to fall asleep again, he would always eventually give in, and the darkness would continue to operate at night in his subconscious. He tried to forsake civilization as far as he could go, so that no person could be corrupted by the dark energy of the Soul Edge, but to no avail he had eventually assumed the azure armour for a second time, becoming Nightmare all over again, desperately pursuing fragments of the Soul Edge that he might fully restore it. As Nightmare plundered powerful souls and recovered shattered fragments of the sword, the cracks in Soul Edge healed one by one. His goal of reviving the evil sword edged toward completion. After some time, the Azure Knight returned to his old stronghold, Ostrheinsburg, as its bloodied land was a fitting stage for the restoration of the evil sword's true power In the ruins of the chapel, a lone fencer, Raphael Sorel appeared in search of Soul Edge. The two of them faced off, but at the end of the fierce battle, Nightmare stood victorious. As he stepped forward to finish Raphael off, he muttered something incoherently Deep within Nightmare's eyes a faint light dwelled. It was the will of Siegfried. As he struggled to free his mind from the influence of evil, the spirit of the sword sneered at him. The two held a formless fight, as Siegfried struggled to take his body back while Inferno mocked him and his father The battle raging deep within his mind caused the Azure Knight to stand motionless. Beside him, the wounded body of Raphael trembled. Only Raphael's great will enabled his gravely injured body to move. Drawing on his last strength, Raphael unleashed a desperate final blow upon his enemy. The strike pierced the centre of Soul Edge Nightmare let out an inhuman cry. Inside him, the crazed, wounded mind of the evil sword clawed at his consciousness. Siegfried stood with an iron will against the raging storm, and finally restored control. He who had been lost to the cursed sword for so long had reclaimed his body as his own. In response to the rapidly weakening evil, light poured out like the coming of the dawn... When it was all over, Siegfried thought back in a daze over what he had done. As he looked around, he sighted a sword that appeared along with the light. As if guided by something, he took the sword in his hand and drove it into the evil eye that was the core of Soul Edge. That sword was the holy sword Soul Calibur, which had been trapped by the power of the evil sword. The blow, however, was not enough to destroy the evil sword. The evil energy of Soul Edge had quieted, but the holy sword, still piercing cursed sword, had gone silent, as if it too, had lost its power. "This isn't enough..." Forcing his exhausted mind into motion, as he began to think. He threw off his detestable armour and smashed it into pieces. Then, picking up both swords, he left that cursed land. "I will seal away Soul Edge for all eternity and atone for my sins. This I swear!" His bloody fate would not release him so easily, however. From time to time, the feeling of that grotesque arm rose from the depths of his memory. The residue of the nightmare tormented him. Those seeking revenge on Nightmare would occasionally appear in his path. Each time he was forced to fight them, his mind was wracked with guilt. Moreover, Siegfried did not realize that another dark omen was on the horizon. Indeed, there was no way for him to know that the azure knight would soon be revived and a man who wanted to end an ever-lasting curse wanted the two swords in order to do it.

Return of Nightmare
A Pokémon by the name of Zasalamel use a spell to resurrected Azure Knight giving Nightmare it own body though the armour making it look more demonic after a while of searching and fighting many warrior's he would end up in Crownreef where the pair would find a place called the Lost Cathedral there Zasalamel used his dark arts to break Soul Embrace in order to become Abyss, Siegfried and Nightmare defeated Abyss and both the Spirit Sword and the Cursed Sword were freed. Both Siegfried and Nightmare took their respective swords and clashed one more time the power of the swords all most nearly destroyed them both after the battle he recovered and saw Nightmare had gotten away this where he vowed "I will live on. To live... that is my redemption" with that he quickly leave not wanting to get anyone involved as this battle would drawled Crownreef forces there.

Battle of Ostrheinsburg
After a few months of training Siegfried was ready and in time too as shards of Soul Edge was see in the night sky being called to the sword for their final battle Bathed in the moonlight he knew it was time and headed for cursed city of Ostrheinsburg. His journey of repentance was coming to an end when he got there he saw the army of Draconis sieging Ostrheinsburg Castle as Nightmare had formed a army out of his servants and Malfested along with those who could be manipulated however it not just Draconis he called forces form all the other kingdoms, guilds like the (Old) thieves guild and even some of the warlords as this weapon was something that was universally hated however the rulers of those kingdoms was not there as Draconis new ruler Kinryu didn't want to risk their safely and wanted the other kingdoms to ready to block off the kingdom to trap Nightmare forces if this attack failed so only their children and high ranking was there with their own forces form that kingdom to help with the battle even some Dark Gators was there to give aid in the battle led by some of Kroko children like Rei it was a place that hold not hate for each other as the world wanted to destroy even Hisui have some of their forces in the battle lead by one of it younger royals to over see the battle as well as he saw many warrior's he come cross taking part in the battle some wanting to see the sword destroyed while others seek the change to get it Siegfried join the battle charging the lines many was shocked to see him as many thought he was suppose to till be Nightmare while others was shock to see him with the Sword Soul Calibur seeing this many help him and much to his shock he even saw the Schwarzwind, the old gang he used to belong to and with aid form the others like Hilde and Dimitri form Crownreef with Siegfried knowing the Castle well he got inside and battle his way though many of Nightmare loyal followers once he reach Ostrheinsburg Castle Throne Room Nightmare was not there and after beating the last of his followers he quick to learn that Nightmare had gone into battle so rush to face him when he found him he saw Nightmare fighting and units form Crownreef lead by Frederick Crownreef so he walk up and soon as Nightmare noticed him their final battle would start the two crushing and blocking and trading sword blows everyone keep clear as the power of the two Swords clashing was dangerous to be near but soon Siegfried land the killing blow stabbing thought both Soul Edge and Nightmare destroying them both with that everyone give a cheer

A new home
After the battle was over Crownreef was the first to absolves him of his sins as Dimitri forgive him and knights Siegfried Kinryu even forgive him and so did the prince of Hisui as he said he see to it the world knows with that Kinryu did offer Siegfreid a place in Draconis but Siegfreid feel he could not return after what he had done so Hilde and Dimitri offer him a place in Crownreef when he gotten to Crownreef and they told Ramus what happen Ramus was happy to have Siegfreid and on the spot made him Crownreef 7th High Captain with this he would he reformed Schwarzwind form a clan of thieves into a Royal guard unit and for once in a long time he was happy in his life the work he does for Ramus and Crownreef given him a new purpose and soon after he join he would meet Serene a Shiny Xernea who was a younger sister to Aurora, Melody and Alzora he would save her form a group of evil pokes who like catching legendary pokemon and sell them off on the black market after he saved her she would become his diaper for that point on and he soon be know as the Knight of Redemption showing anyone can walk the path of Redemption

Swia war
When the war happen he joined he was shock to see how many kingdoms come to Mona 2 aid while most kingdoms did send forces to deal with Nightmare that was one battle this was a full on war and for Mona to win over most of the world kingdoms to her side it impressed him with his sword Soul Calibur he was a enemy to be feared by the Dark Gator especially those who was at the battle of Ostrheinsburg saw first hand how skilled he is and with the Schwarzwinds they help turn many of the battles to the alliance favour

After the war
When the war was over he wonder what Mona 2 planed to do with Kroko and those under him they had taken even if what Kroko did was evil it was under madness and he a saint compared to what he had done when he was Nightmare but in time he soon ready Crownreef forces as Mist and Butterfly kingdoms seem to be at odds with each other and a chance a war might break out.
