Zenythia by DrakonST
Art by drakonst; commissioned by pkmndiamond493.
An incredibly delightful rendition of the Super Goddess Zenythia the Cinccino/Espeon/Ninetales done by Drakon! >w<
I’ve admired Drakon’s work for years and thought I would never own a picture by them. Then Mr. Diamond changed all that with this gift. .///.
One day I want to be as capable of an artist, but until then, pictures like this can serve as a great inspiration to get there! =w=
Zenythia looks so bountiful and fluffy in this~

The honest did great work. I'll focus on the things I like about this since you already know my position on excessive hyper. The space background looks amazing and I like how realistic that yellow dwarf star looks. It might or might not be our sun but that doesn't matter because both parts of that look extremely lifelike.
I like the shine on Zenythia's body because it makes her look utterly celestial like she is. I can't quite tell what kind of world that is in her cleavage though? Do you have any idea even though you're not the artist ?
Regardless, her outfit and her fur look amazing as well. While the fur is detailed it doesn't look too free flowing but that's because she's in space and there's no gravity to drag her down. The folds on her clothing are amazingly detailed and I love how you can see all the folds in them.
Lastly, having the star light her up from that angle is a cool idea that I'm surprised isn't used more in space settings. Then again, a character often isn't in a position where they can be that directly lit up by a star.

I'm very happy with this, thanks!
With Drakon's environments, I'm 95% sure they usually use stock images/photographs and don't actually hand paint them. That would be why the space environ looks so realistic.
In the full resolution picture you can clearly tell its just earth, with the view being over Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.
I used to do dramatic lighting for space pictures to make it more realistic, but I broke away from that to make the picture generally more visually appealing with more light. If someone really wanted me to, I'd certainly go back and do more true lighting. >w>
