Yeah, but obscuring everyone's faces with masks wouldn't make for a very good commission, though. The only difference would be the tails.

I don't think that there's anything wrong with the background. It's non-descript and keeps the viewer's attention focused on the action. We don't need to know what's back there because that's not where things are happening.

As a fencer, I greatly approve of this great art piece. You captured the spirit of a bout very very well.
You have many details in the picture that most would miss. As a fencer, I have almost no criticism toward any error in fencing details you have provide. I feel like having you do one for me in the future if interested

I know one of the little errors is her forward foot, which should've been facing forward.
But it was my choice to have it on the side to give her the motion of a hard and sudden stop.
I would certainly like to do a fencing theme piece for you in the future when I open for commissions again.

Nah, that's actually not really the error, as even I fence like that
It's about the "lack of masks" but like mentioned, hard to tell what commission is for so I can let it slide
