The Fumigrant Reaper is a majestic yet incredibly cruel being that lurks around graveyards and less guarded hospitals. They grab souls of recently deceased to power themselves and boost their abilities.

The males are a bit bigger than the females and they often reside in disused and unhallowed graveyards. When not hunting for new souls, the souls they collect and consume are stripped of all essence and tortured until released to the afterlife they belong to.

Fumigrant reapers appear in both feral and anthro form. They often chase quietly thanks to their stealth passive making their footsteps virtually silent. Almost everyone gets an unpleasant surprise when encountering one of them.

Their most common home is in unhallowed graveyards but they have been known to take over entire villages or temples and make a ‘’circle’’ on the land. They will then clear out whatever is alive in the center of their new home within that circle.

They can’t be negotiated or reasoned with. They also lack the skill to realize when they are in over their heads in a fight and will continue until they die or win.

Their combat skills are mostly in deception and stealth but do not dismiss them from being dangerous head on. Their bite both stuns and clouds the mind of the one bitten, making them easier prey. They can turn into smoke at a wink and move to where they wish and reform.

They have a diet that consists of flesh of the innocent. Being evil won’t necessarily keep you safe and them from hunting you. They will kill anyone not of their kind but they only consume flesh of the innocent.

Fumigrant reapers can go unnoticed for some time in an area. They often go unseen by most until they, all in one night, consume every young child and other innocents within a large area. They will then take a piece of land within this area, a graveyard or a temple, and go on to kill anyone who goes near them while they vandalize the graves, mock the dead, and steal lingering souls.

They have a long lasting hate war with the Soul Singers who are currently low in numbers and they mostly avoid the fumigrants. They can usually fight a few Singers at a time if cornered. They also have a long war with the Fairy Dragon and are also commonly targeted by harpies. The reason behind harpies attacking them is not clear, but they may pose a threat to their young as harpies often have their nest near graveyards and places people go to but do not live at.

The only known half-fumigrant reaper was a princess of the east who’s mother, the queen, sought out and somehow captured. She then put it on display but it managed to escape and rape the queen who gave birth to a baby girl. The child had a red flame like color to the hair that glowed in the dark. She had normal eyes but had a glow around all of her in the dark. She inherited all of their powers, none of their weaknesses, and almost none of their attributes. Almost.

Princess Qae’Dra grew up to marry but have no children of her own, or so the court claims. Qae’Dra was never seen for long periods of time between the years, usually for over half a year at a time. She died 150 years ago or so and was buried in a now demolished mausoleum in the east. As when all culture was condemned under new leadership, her grave along with everything else was wiped off the land.

The Fumigrant is far more common in the east and north continents as the west and south continents have hunted them to extinction. The central continent has living conditions that are too harsh for any of them to live in safety and they would simply starve.
