No funny description; hear me out.
Once upon a time, I asked this guy I'd grown really fond of if he wanted to date. It was going to be long distance, but I wanted to give it a shot and we'd really hit it off.
A little over two hours ago marked the three year anniversary of him saying yes.
After every rough night, after every squabble, after every long shift, and after any auxiliary speedbump in life, I wake up feeling grateful and loved. Were I a religious sort, I would assert that I've been blessed by an angel. Seeing as I'm not that sort, I'm content to call him "pumpkin" at every chance I get, as well as serve as a living reminder that he's cherished for all that he is.
I know my audience expects me to be a cheeky bastard and post beans, but bear with me when I say that I love this magnificently fashionable, strikingly clever, immensely kind, captivatingly charming, and ludicrously funny human being more than anything. I've held off on gushing about him for so long, but between wanting to post something like this for a while as well as a recent revelation that I need to start being more unabashedly and joyously thankful, it's time for me to be lovey-dovey on main.
This is the part where I'd say something like, "Here's to another three years," but a lifetime more than that wouldn't be near as much as I need. So, instead...
Here's to many more memories, pumpkin.
Done by RottenOwl two years ago for my and my boyfriend's first anniversary! I didn't initially post this for a few reasons, but now's a fine time! :D

I appreciate seeing this side of you, Mr. Mellow. It really helps me how loving you can be towards the people you love and. Are about. I’m very happy for you two. <3
Gotta remind myself that I'm allowed to act like a person on my page!
Thanks for the kind words!
