My friends and I decided to try our hand at making some reigonal variants for our fake region of Steroia. We used a random pokemon generator and a random type generator to give us a prompt. I ended up giving Salandit a split evolution line because I couldn't decide between a couple of ideas. They're loosely based on the armadillo lizard! Feel free to use them in your own pokemon/fakemon stuff, but please contact me first and credit me for the fakemon if you do!

Steroian Salandit
The Rocky Lizard Pokemon - A Rock/Fire Type
- Steroian Salandit has adapted to harsh desert environment it calls, growing hard plated scales that act as armor against predators.
- When threatened it will grab its tail to curl into a defensive ball, raising its internal body temperature to inflict burns upon anyone who tries to touch it.
- 80% Male, 20% Female
- Location: Scorched Desert
- Females evolve into Salazzle at level 33
- Both males and females evolve into Salandozer when leveling up after learning the move Gyro Ball.

Sterioan Salazzle
The Rocky Lizard Pokemon - A Rock/Fire Type
- Steroian Salazzle lacks the pheromones that the Alolan Salazzle is known for. Instead, they will rattle the rock-like scales on their tail to create vibrations to call nearby Salandit to them.
- They dig elaborate tunnels underground to nest beneath desert sands and hide from the heat of the day while Salandit fetch anything that they need. At night they will emerge to stand guard while the Salandits who tend to them sleep in their nest.
- 100% Female
- Location: Scorched Desert
- Does not evolve further

Salandozer
The Spinning Blade Pokemon - A Steel/Fire Type
- Their scales have been polished and sharpened into blades as hard as iron from rolling across the desert.
- They will increase their internal body temperature as they spin until they turn the sand to glass beneath them.
- 80% Male, 20% Female
- Location: Scorched Desert
- Does not evolve further
