“From my initial scans, it looks like Vechno wasn’t able to get any of her malicious code embedded into your systems, though I’m still waiting on the results of the deep scans to fully confirm that.” Jazel stated, tapping away on her tablet as she went over the various results she had thus far. “Your system proved impeccably resilient, though Vengy’s quick action I’m sure saved you from the brunt of her eventual assault.”
“I feel sooo weeeaakkkk.” Vengy whined, holding up her hands as they shuddered from the small exertion.
“That’s going to happen when you push yourself too much, really have to pace yourself.” Shaid stated softly, rubbing her shoulders as Eria would smile down at her.
“I really appreciate it though…I don’t know how much longer I could have lasted, it felt like she was pinging every vulnerability I didn’t know I had and getting ready to plow her way through them.” Eria sighed, shadowy hands rubbing her shoulders as well as she held a small cup of tea in her hands.
“Gotta save friendddd.” Vengy responded, looking up at her now with as much of a grin as she could muster in her pained state. Eria smiling back, sighing before looking back at Jazel.
“I appreciate you giving me a ‘look over’ too. I’m happy one of Vengy’s friends is so good with tech, I’m not sure if I would have been able to rest at all with the thought that Vechno had snuck in some ‘sleeper agent’ code into me or something, just waiting to activate it and walk me right back into her clutches.”
“I absolutely would not allow that to happen, ever.” Jazel stated, giving her a determined look masking a bit of insecurity. “She’s not having anyone else, not while I’m still breathing.”
“Your dedication is greatly appreciated.” Eria stated, Jazel nodding and looking back to her tablet, staying tense for a moment before more shadowy hands formed around her shoulders as well and rubbed them soothingly to relax her.
“You’re doing great Jaz, just keep it up.” Shaid said in the same soothing tone, and Jazel nodded and sighed, rubbing her eyes a bit but letting a small smile form on her features.
“Besides, you brought Vengy back to use, can’t exactly let you go about turning evil or anything.” Jazel stated with a nod, Shaid giving a smirk and Eria smiling as well, taking a sip of her tea. She might not need the nutrients, but the act of having something warm flow down her insides was always a nice pleasurable feeling to her core.
“I’m just happy I hit the right plain after all, I was mortified I had messed up and somehow got us both captured AND didn’t even take her home!” Eria whined, Shaid giving a bit of a chuckle before winking at her.
“Well, you didn’t miss, so all's well that ends well. Even got to take out one of Vechno’s bases in the city, can’t scoff at that.” He grinned, Eria giving him a grin back and nodding.
“Now I just gotta figure out how all this teleporting works…though, staying with you guys doesn’t seem bad at all! But I don’t want to impose any longer than I have to!” She nodded, with the pair both shaking their heads at her.
“OHhh no you’re fine here as long as you need.” Jazel responded assuringly.
“Yeah, not like you’re even going to take up much of the food bill, so you’re not a problem at all.” Shaid laughed, Jazel giving him a gentle kick to his shin as Eria simply giggled and nodded.
“There is that, hehehe.” She grinned, and they all gave a smile at one another.
She might have missed the mark a little bit, but at least she got to the right plain…now she’d just need to figure out how to get home. That surely wouldn’t be a problem, not at alllll…
Haza! and thus the conclusion is reached ; v ; for now at least. There's a second half to this story that I'll be getting to, but at least now they've 'made it through the first part' XD and I'm happy with the result! Very happy with
DinoGoat rendition of this absolutely precious scene too, she did a wonderful job and I could not be happier with it! ; v ; love the proper perspective and size difference between everyone here, just looks absolutely lovely!

Is Shaid some sort of alternate version of Shade ? Like a full wolf version of him ?
Yes, I got 3 verses (as can be seen with how I structured my folders). The 'main/Primary verse', the 'RPG verse' and the 'Super verse'. This is effectively the super verse variation of Shade, like how Dusk is the RPG verse version. But he never went to the RPGverse, never got the dragon part pulled out of him like the 'main Shade' did, so he's his own dude in the super verse. A lot more jovial and laid back, with shadow powers!
