Human beings, since the most remote times in their history, have believed in numerous gods, of all kinds, from all origins. Of course, time passed, science prospered, and now, in the midst of the contemporary era, humanity is arrogant and completely skeptical, believing that it has managed to obtain most of the answers to many questions that ancient people asked themselves. Human beings have come to the affirmation and conclusion that believing in deities and gods is archaic, a backward and anachronistic thought, and even ignorant. Everything related to gods and religions was diluted and disappeared from human society, a society of absolute insolence. They are blinded by their beloved science and its supposed truths.
But the day of judgment was going to come, and they had no idea what awaited them, because they had stopped believing in it. None of those arrogant humans would have imagined that they were being watched by someone above, by a superior being.
The god Gallus, the griffin god, an ancient god as old as the universe itself who was assigned by the celestial council of the cosmos as the chief deity of a minor solar system in a galaxy called by humans the Milky Way. In addition to his aforementioned position, he was assigned as the watchman of the mortals who inhabit the only planet capable of thriving life: Earth. A planet that, in fact, was created by the god Gallus himself by his own yellow claws, but not before having tried the same numerous times, giving rise to the other planets of the solar system, and first creating before all of these, the sun. . so many millennia ago in the past. The heavenly council of the universe itself had predicted and knew in advance that Gallus was going to be the creator of this solar system, and they made this known to the divine griffin. The continents that now exist are the work of Gallus, after having stepped on, crushed and trampled the planet to give them a suitable shape for the future inhabitants who were to come.
The god Gallus looks at the planet Earth and all of humanity in general, through a floating and brilliant sphere that he himself has invoked with a single thought from his mystical mind, incomprehensible and incomprehensible to mere mortals. Gallus is sitting comfortably on his throne with a thatched surface, in his great and monumental palace, made of adobe, with bricks made of mud and straw, illuminated by numerous fire torches, floating in the immensity of the cosmos, outside of the limits of the solar system that he himself guards. Despite the great immensity of the palace, which for any living being could be endless and infinite, it does not make Gallus feel small or insignificant, what is insignificant here is the palace itself, housing a deity.
Gallus looks and observes humans carefully and meticulously. They go from here to there attending to their very banal and unimportant matters, sure of their dominance over planet Earth. The arrogance and arrogance of human beings is simply sickening for Gallus. He sees the human as a being that has become corrupt. The griffin god has given humans too many opportunities to redeem themselves and return to old beliefs, hoping that one day he will be worshiped as the powerful god that he is. But they have come to the conclusion that human beings are a lost cause, they have entered into a delirium of being completely skeptical of everything around them. Gallus has his brow furrowed.
“This is unacceptable, without a doubt.” he told himself. “Well, I guess I will be the one to remedy this problem, after all, these mortals cannot correct themselves” he added.
Gallus made the sphere disappear with the same thought that made it appear. The next thing was to stand on its 4 legs, 2 front claws, and its 2 rear lion paws. The griffin spread its splendid, oversized feathered wings to take flight and take off from the ground. Crossing a large frame that lacks any door, he left his immense palace. He"s floating in the middle of outer space, so immense, and yet he doesn"t make Gallus feel insignificant. What is insignificant is the universe compared to the divinity and power of the griffin god. Gallus entered the solar system, passing through the Oort cloud and the solar winds that are incapable of damaging or causing any harmful effect on a god like Gallus, after all, the sun itself is a creation of the griffin.
The griffin floats through the solar system, being pushed by the flapping of its mystical wings. The planets and other elements of the solar system do not compare with the magnificence and presence of the god Gallus, who wears a beautiful and immaculate blanket that covers a large part of the back of his body, with a thick purple stripe with gold decorations. Tight leather straps are tied to his front legs, above his claws, which for now are impeccable and immaculate. What can be highlighted about her outfit are the golden ornaments, pure and polished that reflect any light source, a gold necklace with a purple gem of unknown origin on her neck, another on the top of her head. , about 3 earrings in her left ear, and a wide ring in the middle of her tail. No more no less.
Planet Earth was evidently Gallus" destination, the place he was going to go. At this moment, Gallus is at his normal size, his natural god size. The planet Earth appears before him as a simple tennis ball. This small greenish and bluish ball of mud houses a large amount of life, teeming and diverse in many aspects. To Gallus, it doesn"t mean much. Being next to the planet, Gallus did not hesitate to surround it with his enormous yellow claws. Without making contact with the surface, it hugged the planet with its claws, but it was not a warm hug by any stretch of the imagination. He wants humans to feel helpless and unprotected, he wants humans to feel insignificance like never before witnessed at the mercy of a god whose intentions are anything but good. And he is achieving it.
Humans are terrified when they see how the entire firmament has been dominated by the figure of a gigantic creature, a bird or something similar, which has come from space and is now looking at them with malice, demonstrated by the eyes, vast, deep, full of wisdom but at the same time of perversity, and especially for the smile that forms in the giant"s beak. The ridiculously gigantic size of Gallus makes humans feel at this moment like one of the smallest things existing in existence itself, they seem to be just a few tiny specks of dust and of absolutely non-existent value when being in the presence of a deity, whose importance in the cosmos is vital and fundamental, unlike mortals, who represent absolutely nothing. The great size of the god Gallus makes his figure partially faded, but he is still visible to the eyes of the millions of humans who look at him.
“You mortals, human beings, have become the most arrogant of races by flatly and forcefully denying the existence of us deities. Their arrogance has led them to destabilize the natural balance of this world that is my creation, made from these claws with which I lock them. Therefore, I have decided that the time has come to show you who is in charge of this world, and of this solar system in its entirety, which is also my creation..”
Gallus declared his intentions to humanity, with a voice that commands respect in the more than 8 billion human beings and the rest of living creatures, making the planet vibrate. The humans were able to understand what the griffin god said no matter what language each one spoke, Gallus is able to speak in all existing languages at the same time as if it were nothing.
One of Gallus" many abilities and capabilities as the all-powerful god that he is, is being able to manipulate his size and mass at will and however he wishes, wherever and whenever required, for whatever reason. The current and natural size of Gallus is too large for the small planet Earth, and therefore for his plans in mind. But that would be a problem that would be solved in a millisecond. It was just a matter of quick thinking for Gallus to reduce the size of his entire body to one more appropriate from his point of view. Everything happened so quickly that humans could not fully understand what was happening, but their thoughts reached that point as well as that of many animals. Countless amounts of concrete, dirt and stone were crushed and pulverized under a weight so monumental that it crushed everything to paper, or even less than that, including millions of creatures and humans who had the misfortune of being beneath a hard surface. and rough yellow. Many others also met that fate, but beneath a softer surface. All those unfortunate ones ended up crushed under the claws and hind legs of Gallus, who is now much smaller in size, but still gigantic compared to the tiny microbe-sized humans. It is so large that just one of its 2 claws is capable of crushing an entire city and its surroundings without much effort or complications involved. It"s a perfect size for him.
Gallus looked and took in his surroundings. Many millennia have passed since he himself created this planet, the memory of when he gathered a bunch of meteorites to be able to mold them and form a rocky planet is still fresh as if it had happened yesterday, or in an instant. Another memory he has is that he is still trampling with some force on the surface of this world, forming the continents, the geographical features, the mountains, the mountain ranges, the entire planet is his work, he was the one who created this world so that it can be inhabited by these creatures. Now, the purpose of your visit is the complete opposite of what was previously mentioned. However, he is not going to annihilate all life entirely; after having tried many times to create a perfectly habitable planet, he is not going to undo his precious work, not entirely. But putting mortals in their place is vital to Gallus, humans and their foolishness must be corrected.
“Okay, I"m here. Let"s start with this once and for all."
It was then that Gallus lowered his gaze to the ground, seeing that, just below him, beneath his great shadow that he casts with his shadow, there is a city, considerably large. He is able to see with his keen vision every detail, even the smallest, most minute and most minute detail. Gallus is able to see every human in the city, all of them terrified and scared to the core, each and every one of them running in terror through the many streets of the city. The entire metropolis is flooded with screams, screams of terror, it is what predominates in the environment of the concrete and glass jungle. Gallus you can hear these screams. For the god, those screams are equivalent to music for his furry and feathered ears, to a well-composed melody, it is quite an enjoyment. The griffin laughs and mocks the humans" fear of him, considering them pathetic for this very reason. Even though they are his creation, derived from having created planet Earth, it does not imply that he should have appreciation for such weak beings lacking inherent power.
Gallus did not want to prolong the terror instilled in the humans below, so he did not hesitate at any time to officially begin the massacre, although in reality he had already started it by simply having reduced his size and touching land. firm. But it was time to make a small demonstration of his immense power.
In a manner that could be considered slow, Gallus raised his right claw from the land surface of planet Earth. Lifting it completely revealed a gigantic imprint shaped like the griffin"s claw, a crater spanning miles. Carefully, Gallus raised the yellow claw over the metropolis and its surroundings, farms with fields of crops, several towns, mountains, forests, rivers, some lakes, mountains and hills. All that and more is right now under the sole of the claw of the god The humans on the ground look at the claw in terror. You can see every detail of it, every wrinkle, the appearance of the claw is fleshy, hard and rough. It is a claw that is very dirty, pieces of that same dirt come off and plummet to the ground, causing numerous deaths and havoc. The disturbing thing would be to see that many of those debris and pieces of earth were actually crushed and limp human bodies. These same bodies, when falling and crashing against the asphalt of the streets, fell apart and destroyed what little was left of them. The humans inside the buildings, the skyscrapers, can only see with horror and helplessness everything that happens outside and contemplate the monumentality of the god Gallus and his claw. Gallus is able to see in detail all the chaos that he causes with his mere presence and much more, it amuses him and makes him feel powerful. For the giant, it is impossible not to feel some kind of enjoyment.
"You mortals must learn where you belong... beneath me." a good phrase was going to be perfect to dismiss these humans from existence, and that"s what he did.
Gallus"s next act was to lower his fleshy and hard yellow claw to the ground, simply letting it fall, without much force but without being slow, it was like dropping an object. From the humans" perspective, everything happened so quickly that not even they realized what ended up happening before everything went black and their lives took a perpetual nap from which they would never wake up again. The entire structure belonging to the great city and the surrounding towns were pulverized until no large debris remained. The cars were crushed so much that they became extremely flat tin. And millions of humans were crushed and pulverized, now absolutely two-dimensional and attached to the sole of the yellow claw, like stickers on a sheet of paper. Although the claw is hard and rough, textures could be felt that could be compared to stepping on sand or gravel, the humidity of the rivers and the freshness of the forests, now stained and crushed. At the moment the giant claw hit the Earth"s crust, it tore and trembled in a strong earthquake that shook much of the continent, generating a shock wave of winds comparable to a hurricane or a maximum category tornado. or that of a nuclear bomb, which blew up anything, including people in the surrounding area.
For Gallus, it felt pleasant to feel not only how everything was crushed under his powerful claw, but also to feel how all the souls of the mortals left the crushed bodies and were absorbed by him, to contribute to slightly increasing the power of the God. Gallus applied more weight to his claw and squeezed it, in order to finish off the humans who are still alive, since Gallus is able to sense their presence, at least until they also died. The earth is so fragile and soft that it seems like wet earth and mud. Gallus did not avoid or bother to hide his pleasure as he moaned loudly.
“Oh yeah, I definitely like this.” he commented, between malicious laughs. “The good thing is that I still have a lot to crush.”
Gallus raised his claw again, revealing another crater in the shape of a newly made footprint. Everything that was once in what is now an immense footprint has disappeared, almost in its entirety. There are hardly any traces of the big city and its surroundings, nothing has remained of the mountains. Of the roads and streets it is what is most preserved, at least in part. There are some buildings, but they are now compressed and compacted. Millions of tons of earth, rubble, cars and crushed humans broke loose and fell to the ground. If the sole of Gallus"s claw was already very dirty, now it is even more so.
Not far from the current position of the griffin god, there is another city, certainly similar in size to the already crushed and pulverized one. There, the same situation as before occurs, chaos, screams, terrified people, the streets are piled up with human stampedes running uselessly to save their small and insignificant lives. Gallus is perfectly aware of this, and it amuses him.
“Heh, you mortals are most pathetic. Do you really think you can run away from me with that size?” Gallus scoffed.
Gallus was going to give it the same fate as the recently pulverized city, and this time without making too many detours. He soon placed his claw on the human city and, lazily, and with some strength, he dropped his right claw on the city, crushing everything beneath it to make it disappear from existence and be nothing more than a memory. than it once was. A large cloud of brown dust and dirt rose into the air. Millions more humans perished under the deadly grip of Gallus, and the worst thing for them is that there is still much work to be done.
The crushing carnage did not stop. Gallus crushed more cities around him, using his fleshy and wrinkled griffin legs for the task. Their claws are excellent for this type of thing, they are hard and lethal, very destructive and barely leave a trace of what has been crushed and stepped on. Only a little more than 10 minutes have passed and the slaughter is counted in the millions, almost reaching the hundreds of millions of humans who have lost their lives under the clutches of the god Gallus. He has left behind a good trail of well-marked footprints on the ground, where millions of humans lie flattened as if they were stickers. Every step, every stomp is like a catastrophe of biblical proportions, something never seen by humanity.
Since Gallus trampled the second city, the combined army of different countries has sent their armed forces, especially the air forces, to try to somehow repel the gigantic griffin. As might be expected, he was not even tickled by the fighter projectiles. That"s when governments gave the green light to launch a large amount of nuclear arsenal against the giant god. There were not hundreds, but thousands of ballistic missiles, nuclear and atomic, thermonuclear, and even hydrogen bombs that hit the plumage of the colossal griffin. They did not achieve the effect that the high military and political leaders wanted to see. Not only were they disappointed, but their blood also ran cold when they saw that there really was no chance of facing this indolent, domineering and malicious giant with divine airs. The only thing they achieved by attacking the griffin god is that Gallus will crush all that military and nuclear base that has attacked him with his pathetic missiles. At that moment Gallus thought, ha, mortals, so foolish and insignificant.
The genocide of the god Gallus continued. Beyond the numerous deaths that the griffin causes, the truth is that Gallus can at least say that he has graced mortals with his mere presence; humans should feel honored to be in front of an almighty god. After all, the environment around Gallus and everything in it is completely insignificant to him. The number of victims already exceeds more than one billion, and the number was only increasing, 2 billion, 3 billion, 4 billion, and so on, all of this in a period of about 30 minutes. Gallus visited the seas and oceans of planet Earth, stepping on them, enjoying the humidity and freshness that these waters offer, causing tsunamis and apocalyptic floods that submerged cities, and worse still, entire islands and all their populations, also affecting marine life. something unimportant for Gallus. Gallus is aware that wildlife and animal life has nothing to do with the arrogance of humans, the griffin god did not pay much attention to them and was not careful with them at all. Either way, he has a plan in mind for them.
When the number of humans crushed by the god Gallus already exceeds more than 5 and a half billion, Gallus stopped. Not for anything in particular, it was just that something funny came to mind, at least for him, not for humans. Without wasting any more time, he raised his left claw in the air, and with a single yellow and pointed finger, he buried it in the soft and fragile earth, and from that point he began to drag it, taking with him tons of earth, entire towns and a section of a nearby city, an entire mountain, and everything that was in the area. Gallus is writing something on the ground. It didn"t take long to finish it, and he simply felt proud of his work. What is written is the following:
FUCKING MORTALS.
It is written in his divine language, and he knows that mortals will never know what it says, but it seemed funny to him to do it. Either way, having killed more than half of the human population, and destroyed a large part of their infrastructure, Gallus felt he had done a good job of instilling fear in mortals and giving them a good show. of power, but above all, making it clear to them what happens when the existence of powerful deities like him is denied. All those traces that he has left in his destructive path will be a good reminder to humans of how powerful, strong and great he is, but especially to remind mortals how truly insignificant and unimportant they are in the existence of the cosmos. .
Without saying anything, not a word, Gallus with a single thought manipulates its size to return it to its normal state, that is, to become much larger than the planet Earth, as it was just upon his arrival. Once Gallus returned to his natural size, he stared at planet Earth. The traces that he has left on the surface are perfectly visible. It is a miracle that the Earth"s crust and tectonic plates are still intact, or at least largely so, taking into account the brutality of the trampling. It was at this point that Gallus decided that the nature of the planet deserved to recover what belonged to it and that was taken from it by the arrogance, greed and stupidity of human beings. Then, Gallus stretched out his left claw a little and opened his palm, placing it under the planet, as if he were holding it. With his right claw instead, he raised it, and with it he gave a quick snap. A shock wave was formed that was not visible at all in outer space, but was visible when it reached planet Earth. But it was not a destructive wave. Soon, a large amount of rich and abundant vegetation began to sprout in the footprints. Wildlife flourishes freely in the craters by the will of the god Gallus, considered at least more beautiful than the dirty and disgusting human cities, which like everything else, and despite those great skyscrapers, remained very insignificant.
“If you mortals, avoiding another new punishment from me is what you want, worshiping and venerating as the true god that I am is what you should do. Otherwise, my claws will do the dirty work again, and I will have no mercy on you.” Gallus dedicated a few last words to the human survivors of his divine punishment, who looked at him in terror.
Once the purpose of his visit had been fulfilled with complete success, and having certainly had a good time crushing his world, Gallus turned around to return to his palace outside the solar system. The trauma that has been left to humanity as a whole is the most severe, but the lesson has been forceful and they have grasped it. That"s what happens when arrogance takes over an entire race that believes itself above everything, when it"s just the opposite. They are but specks of dust not only to the vastness of the universe, but they are also specks to a deity whose presence has honored them.
The god Gallus returned to his celestial palace, and entered its interior. Before returning to rest and rest his body on his great and magnificent throne, Gallus had to attend to one last matter. Clean your claws. To do this, the griffin flew and arrived at a room of gigantic size, like the entire palace itself. In this room, there is a huge water source, thus feeding a large pond. It is clean and sparkling water. It is not many times that Gallus visits this part of his own home, but on this occasion it was vital to do so. Gallus landed and sat on his 2 hind legs, near the water. Immediately afterwards, he began to wash his claws with that same water, eliminating all traces of the massacre he had committed. All the dirt and grime stuck and accumulated even in the most hidden corner of Gallus"s claws, including his wrinkles, disappeared, like the bodies of crushed humans, of which no trace remains. As he did so, Gallus appeared calm and collected, brushing off all the chaos and destruction he made on planet Earth. After all, why should a deity like him give importance to something as banal as stepping on bugs?
Gallus shook his claws as he finished cleaning them, and looked at them. They are impeccable and immaculate. As if they had never been soiled by the filth of mortals.
“Heh, much better,” he said, looking at his own clean claws. “Well, I"ve done a lot for today,” said. “Now, I think a good hundred-millennium nap would be good for me to rest up.”
Gallus, feeling good and satisfied with himself for his great work today, left the room and returned to his throne room.
END.

Story in which Gallus the griffin, who on this occasion is a god, goes to planet Earth to remind humans how insignificant they are.
An apology if you see spelling or grammatical errors, I am not a native English speaker (I am a Spanish speaker).
In any case, I hope you enjoy it.

END.
