Captain Vida strikes me as the logistical type. If some of her guests can't fit in the normal quarters, she would give up hers so they could be comfortable. I mean Vida apparently never sleeps anyway, so she would only use the quarters to work in and she could do that in the engine room. Vida might have some issues with any extra-curricular activities tho...
