This is Blanc, a splotchfox based off of actors, theatre kids, printers and photocopiers, and printing presses. As someone obsessed with artistic popularity, he doesn't have an actual clue on what makes art valuable, ironically enough. He's also obsessed with mimicking others and acting, with his uses for them being anywhere between good or bad.
Blanc has a very difficult time feeling like he can really fit in with others, especially in the art-themed society he inhabits. He desperately wants to be known, but art was never one of his skills. He couldn’t envision any ideas and always constantly drew a blank whenever he tried to do art, and if he did force himself, it just didn’t look good at all. He swiftly developed a perfectionist nature and hated himself if the results weren't acceptable to him, with it getting to the point that he wished he could "disappear forever" and become others for a change.
This thought sparked a coping mechanism in which he’d try to act as others to get away from himself, but due his aphantasia, he couldn’t come up with anything for himself, and had to rely on acting like others… especially his idols. When acting as them didn’t pan out, he ended up hating himself even more and instead turned to more unethical means of creating art; namely, automating it. He didn't care about anything else other than the results and hoped that he'd get love and attention for it... when in reality it does quite the opposite.

Surprisingly, this is actually one of the first character designs I've created on my own in quite a while! I did get some assistance from a friend of mine elsewhere but I ironed out the design myself, and I'd say I really like his design.
It took me a while to finally decide on the theme of Blanc, but I knew I wanted to do a jab at people who abuse AI for their own gain, especially the “AI artist” community. While the designs can be nice to use as inspiration for actual art, that’s the only positive I can really think about, seeing their cons outweigh their pros by a considerable margin. (I'll keep it at that for obvious reasons.)
I've got a myriad of inspirations from him, the main ones being Brushogun from Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo, the INKT Corporation (and its leader, Comrade Black) from de Blob, and King Olly from Paper Mario: The Origami King. There are also other inspirations, namely a few Fakemon (from artists I don't think are on this site) and a former friend of mine who dealt with poor coping mechanisms about how they saw themselves.
