Either one I'd want at least a tazer as the ol 'whip & chair' aren't enough these days ...
Probably better than putting your fist through a window and ending up in ER, which is what I managed to do yesterday
When my (now ex) sister in law would start climbing the walls because of the way she was raising her brat I'd tell her: "Well, trank darts are still legal ... and if you're still wound up after putting him down for a nap give yourself one!" Ah, the dirty looks I'd get for that ...
That reminds me of a bumper sticker: "Silence is golden. Duct tape is silver."
This is exactly why I never want to become a teacher, lol. I don’t mind kids, but that work environment is like a hornets nest. The slightest mishap can cause an insane amount of chaos.
I know how Shiera feels I work in a school cafeteria and I have to deal with kids everyday.
I like how the kid that was stealing a toy from his classmate is the one faking crying now.
That doesn't surprise me. Sadly, the parents doesn't see the reality.
"The King Bunny", eh? Is this a subtle Swords & Sausages reference?
I'd like to think it's a popular children's story in the "real" Nine to Nine world that Tor and Andrea used in Swords and Sausages.
I mean, that came to me when I saw the book. It makes sense!
Some parents are just stupid and should have their parts removed
Still think kitty needs hugs, love, a scratching post replacement, and catnip tea :)
I feel badly for Shiera, here. At the same time, I always wondered how skunks looked in the Nine-to-Nine world =0)
It's really sad that teachers don't get hardly 'Any' if any support.

And then they grow up into the adults that I have to deal with.... -facepalms-
I know how she feels.
I know how she feels.
I reserve my uttermost respect for people who work with kids in the daily...
aw, the life of a teacher. Never getting to enjoy recess time again.
To bad those kids are too young to realize how cute she is, or they might be nicer to her.

Its funny, but sadly true. my niece worked about a year as a kindergarten teacher- Her school was in a nice, well-off suburb, I should add. Yet she had to deal with-
-Kids as old as 7 who hadn’t been toilet trained.
-Little boys getting into savage brawls where they tried to kick each other in the groin, and sometimes gouge out each others eyes.
-Trying to enforce honest discipline and being told “Fuck you, you’re not the boss of me!”
-Having 6 year old girls call her “bitch”, “twat”, and “cunt”.
- Being spat on and bit.
-Having to call parents in for a parent-teacher conference and discovering not only that didn’t they give a damn about their angel child's atrocious behavior, they were also highly offended that she said there was a problem to begin with. And if their kid was with them and started crying “Boo hoo hoo hoo, Teacher’s mean to me!”, my niece knew that she was not only up the creek without a paddle, she didn’t have a canoe either. After months of being called an incompetent trouble maker, a child abuser, a racist, a fascist, and being threatened with legal action and, in some cases, physical violence, my niece quit her job and happily settled into the role of a hausfrau raising her children to be good kids and not rotten brats. She’s never regretted her decision.

I worked in retail for like nine years, before switching jobs. I feel the fourth panel.
