“What even makes a God? Is it their title or is it their followers? Maybe it’s their strength, and trust me, I have a lot of it.” ~Captain PiK
(Before continuing this is a sequel post to “Captain PiK and the Early Wars of Materia. If you have not read it, it is advised you start there which will be linked in the description of this post. If you have already read through it, please ignore this message.)
It has been almost 4 years after Captain PiK started retaliated strikes against the Mimin Armada. Then about 2 years since the War Against the Stars. The Scalebolds have found their new god, King Keii returned to his borders, the faction known as Yggdrasil has been dissolved, and Angel-Tech has run out of troops to send to Materia. What Captain PiK thought would usher in a new peace was swiftly interrupted during the grand finale of the final battle. A bitter resolution when Yggdrasil’s dying war cry would be ripping open the fabric of reality and jostling the very foundation of the universe. With this open wound the faceless would begin pouring in and in those final moments many of the factions once at war now had to band together.
Despite the battle only lasting for an hour, the death toll would be in the trillions. Many vital parts of the universe collapsed within on itself, countless legendary heroes would fall to Maxwell’s brief invasion and those who survived were wounded to where they could never fight again. Even Captain PiK would lose his arm, being consumed by a simple faceless fodder as his title of a god and divine nature meant nothing to these creatures. He somehow survived it against all odds, but it also began to viciously change him physically.
Once this battle was over, parts of the land have gone fallow, the tear of the universe was sealed, and an uneasy alliance set in. The Warrior of the Pillars would soon find a home in the main capital of Bayshore and countless immigrants ripped from their homes would find a place to rest. Captain PiK would become renown as “The Red Devil” and the “Pillar of The Holy Flesh” for his miraculous survival and cunning actions during the final battle. However, as time went on, Captain PiK would continue to fall ill as Thomza has to step up to the plate to deal with a brand-new threat on the horizon. PiK’s divinity would rot away, and it would be fully replaced by the faceless infection that has torn his very soul asunder.
Inevitably, Captain PiK knew that he would be consumed by madness and his body would change entirely. He would go on a quest for proper immortality and attempt to find a cure for the faceless infection. As time was running short, he would consistently shift forms before returning back to his Copper Kobold self. With this transformation he would leave massive amounts of destruction in his wake and would then seal himself away. Captain PiK would never find a cure, but instead accept his fate as his body continued to change and rapidly evolve. His final transformation would become clear as he managed to hold onto what sanity he had left. This final design would be a creature of pure white, melting at the seams with glowing red eyes. A being that is not divine, not a Faceless, and not even Maskless in nature.
Captain PiK would return to lead his people with a brand-new profound power. His head in check, Ayvil at his side once again, he would hold his head up high. For divine or not he has a job to do and a kingdom to raise from the ashes of war. All in the nick of time too as he can feel the very stability of the universe failing as a new era is about to begin...
>>Objectively, this is Captain PiK at his strongest without many downsides. The form can freely shapeshift from being overly tall and giant to having "smaller" versions of it, so he doesn't outgrow his castle. Granted in this form Captain PiK's personality shifts very slightly to be more "chaotic" in nature which goes alongside being part of the Flexile Family. Captain PiK is still a very "magical" and "unstable" being and would rather use devastating spells instead of walking up to someone and punching them. They're also incredibly flexible and fast despite being so large they are abysmally hard to hit. They can also transform many of their different body parts into different tools and weapons if needed. They're going to be overly flashy and dramatic and ensure that you're styled on if marked as an enemy. Their kobold form is for leading armies, this form is for actually fighting foes directly. Unfortunately, their ego inflates to massive levels, and they may become much too overconfident in a fight.

Hee-Ho, howdy everyone! Here's the stuff I've been teasing around for Captain PiK's objective new form that shows up in Cycle 10.5 as it's technically a redesign of that shadowy figure you've seen before-- BUT-- I decided that would be the "prototype" state or the "lost in chaos" state. If you don't know what I'm talking about or are new here? You can check that out in one of my images: "Simply Taller Than Thou"
Other than that? I don't got much to say outside it does take place after this sheet here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/55327960/
Frankly the next "Reference Sheet" style thing I'll do that explains more of the setting will be Hunter, so look forward to that! Same goes with Aellea getting a proper reference for her Chaos form which will explain the events after: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/54894980/
But don't worry either- like... I'm going to make a proper piece also whence they're all done to properly show the entire timeline of the setting with it being fully refined instead of scattered all over the place.
Until next time folks! Thanks for reading!
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales Universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone.

Fun Fact 1: Captain PiK's transformation is based a bit off of UBiL and Ayvil's old God-like form, both of course being my characters
Fun Fact 2: A friend of mine asked if there's any Gieuge or Giygas inspirations from this and not really lmfao, but there could be
Fun Fact 3: Captain PiK is not related to Chaos Beasts but is still made out of soul goop
Fun Fact 4: 745 Feet is usually the maximum he'll go in terms of size, but being a giant monster and a god-like being, this probably "isn't even his final form"
Fun Fact 5: I decided to make it a pure white with red shading to try and signify "toxicity" as well as the pure white meaning "death" in their kaiju design
