Themis, her parents, the Lake Guardians and Six have to get through a field with a constant meteorite shower, effectively having to deal with shooting stars fitting to this Layer. They end up getting through it, of course. Afterwards, Themis notes: "Huh, it looks like the nightsky-looking ceiling and walls of this place are moving, just... slowly enough for it to only be noticable by paying attention to it. Makes me wonder what makes it move.", causing Yannick the Uxie to tell her: "The answer is the next Layer we'll get to.", so that Mackenzie the Mesprit remarks in a playfully mocking manner: "There really are things the bringer of knowledge knows, hehe.", with Alastair jokingly referring to it: "It's a miracle.", though Yannick questions that: "How does that relate to the word for the most high or successful point?" "No, that's pinnacle.", Alastair the Azelf corrects him on that, but that just makes Yannick more confused: "How did fruits get into this conversation?", confusing it with pineapple. Mackenzie comments on this: "He is so stupid.", before adding adoringly: "And stupidly cute.", which makes Alastair say to her: "You think he's cute? No, you are.", before Yannick then says to Alastair: "No, YOU are." Themis semi-jokingly remarks: "I wanna see their threesome.", with Six joining non-jokingly: "Me too!", causing that demon and the Angel Zorua to high five... well, high paw, each other.
With the group of seven getting close to the next portal, the next Boss Battle Enemy gets in their way. That's how they learn of another legendary Pokémon who is actually conspiring against Arceus. Well, two Pokémon, technically, since they're now facing Ice Rider Calyrex. "Seize your progression this instant.", Calyrex warns them, "Or else... you'll be royally beaten up! Literally." Considering what he rides on for this upcoming fight, that being Glastrier, Themis imagines the Boss Battle Song for this hostile encounter to be Skillet's "White Horse" as the fight begins:
(Skillet's "White Horse": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETnJksDjCTw)
"I am the earthquake,
armies shake at my name,
I come for justice,
recognize your king.
Do you want peace or war when
Heaven's force comes riding on a white horse?"
Themis already has an idea, aiming her attack with her sword at Calyrex instead of the Glastrier he rides on, with Gaia supporting her with Helping Hand. It doesn't cause much damage, but the force does impact him a bit, which Themis takes as confirmation of her idea being right, so that she lets the others know: "Aim all your attacks at Calyrex, we gotta get him off his horse!" Six however first tries to simply possess the royal legendary Pokémon, but Ice Rider Calyrex is too powerful for that to work. "Fuck!", Six disapproves audibly. Uranus attacks with a super effective Night Slash, Mackenzie also has something super effective with Fire Punch. Meanwhile Alastair goes for Energy Ball and Yannick uses the not very effective Zen Headbutt against the Psychic and Ice Type Pokémon opposing them. Ice Rider Calyrex then attacks with his signature attack Glacial Lance, damaging everyone among the good guys. "This guy is trouble.", Gaia can recognize before using Memento, defeating herself to weaken the opponent's damage output during this fight as well. Mackenzie comments on this: "Well, she has a consistent strategy, that much can be said for sure.", as everyone else keeps fighting.
Six attacks the legendary Pokémon sitting on top of another legendary Pokémon by using his big wings to fly and tackle him from high up to do so with a lot more force. Meanwhile the others attack the rider himself as well, trying to get him to fully lose grip and fall off his white horse. Ice Rider Calyrex continues with the use of Future Sight. The group keeps aiming their attacks the way Themis told them... except for Yannick the Uxie who still attacks the Glastrier itself every other turn, not catching up on this not getting them to win in time. The next attack which the two combined antagonistic legendary Pokémon go for is Seed Bomb, landing a hit on Themis with that. But the good guys keep up the fight and neither the eventual hit of the enemy's earlier use of Future Sight nor his Hyper Beam attack are fully keeping all of Themis's team down, all while they keep attacking the royal Pokémon on his horse. And after several more turns, this eventually does cause Calyrex to fully lose grip and fall off his Glastrier from the force of all the attacks he is being hit with.
"Fine...", Calyrex reacts to this outcome, "I act based on honor... enough to let this count as a win for you, at least. But there are still a few other enemies in your way before you'll get to Puruel. And for the sake of Puruel's control over Heaven, I hope you face your demise as you get through the last two Layers of Heaven." "Thanks for the encouragement.", Alastair remarks sarcastically as the group now gets to progress, getting to the portal which would lead them to what Layer of Heaven is above the Firmament.
Meanwhile on the Elysium Layer, Mew suggests to Arceus: "How about I cheer you up? With a magic trick! I can use only five loaves and two fish to fully feed thousands of people!", though his father points out: "We're still stuck inside this room."
Puruel contacts Darkrai, telling the villainous Mythical Pokémon: "Hey Darkrai... I'm inviting you into Heaven. I want you to use your nightmare thing to trap any angels opposing me now.", with Darkrai questioning: "Why would you want that now? So far, you avoided getting Arceus to be suspicious of you.", so that Puruel tells about the recent turn of events. That makes Darkrai just wonder: "Why... Why would you leave Arceus even alive? You're effectively allowing the possibility of someone somehow freeing him!" "He could still be of use somehow, simple as that.", the fiery humanoid angel gives his reasoning before Darkrai says: "I still think that's stupid. But you seem to genuinely think you know what you're doing. Whatever... I agree to help you out... in return for you helping me at some point in the future."
As Naughty and Spirit walk through Pecado Town some more, the Angel Espeon catches herself briefly looking at her girlfriend's butt, though then quickly looking away and shaking her head in confusion about why she even looked there to begin with. "Weird...", she thinks to herself, "What was that just now?"

The group of Themis enters the tenth Layer of Heaven called Primum Mobile. Being here looks like inside an ancient machine with wooden gears ranging from small to massive. Themis now understands how this Layer is moving the previous Layer, with Yannick letting her know: "Fun Fact: All of Heaven's Layers are in constant movement, actually. The Firmament is just one where it's easily visible from inside of it too.", which leads to Uranus to be able to conclude: "So all the Layers are physically connected too, not just via portals?", though Gaia replies to that: "Well... not neccessarily, since Heaven doesn't operate the exact same way as the dimension where Earth is, though it is at least a possibility."
