Following up my Queen Mary remake with changing her name to becoming her film counterpart from the 1972 film based on the novel of the same name by Paul Gallico.

This is one of your most detailed pics ever my friend!Great work and the film is great!!!
Indeed....the "new"remake is awful...I just like it the special effects when the ship is turning upsidedown by the wave!!
I have nothing against the 2006 remake seeing how it was directed by the late Wolfgang Petersen; it's just that it doesn't hold a candle to the 72' film although it's not as bad as Beyond the Poseidon Adventure or the 2005 TV remake.
Indeed my friend! He is the same director of the film "The Never Ending Story"...one of my all-time favorites!!!
Along with Das Boot, The Perfect Storm, and Troy.
After reading that the QM almost capsized by a rouge wave during WWII.
One of my favorite movies. Gene Hackman led the way. I truly felt compassion for what they were going through. Fantastic pic as well.
The same I cannot say for it's 1979 sequel or the 2005 TV movie remake.
I have a slight preference to older films. I did not enjoy the newer version.
I was reading the novel last year; never finished it but it was funny that the creative crew had to say Stella Stevens "avoid the book, you'll hate your character" and by what I read, they were right XD
I've never read the novel the film is based on; it's the same case for me with the Harry Potter films, Jurassic Park, JAWS, etc.
